Anyone catch the Colts vs Patriots game to kick off the start of the 85th NFL season? Was a great way to start the season and i hope all the games are as entertaining. Was in a strange situation where i couldn't care who actually won this as i find New England to be horribly boring and Ty Law to be very annoying (he takes arrogance to a whole new level, he makes Jose Mourinho look like the most modest man in the world) and Indianapolis aren't much better with Peyton 'Most over-hyped player ever' Manning leading the charge.

Was good to hear the greatest commentating duo in all of sports Al Michaels and the legend John Madden back once again, no one can beat them.

But anyway the game, few interceptions thrown by Manning showing just how average he is and proving once more New England is not his favourite place (Vick and McNabb are far better) and Ty Law spending most of the game on the bench and when he did come on he got schooled by Marvin Harrison (and why Manning wasn't throwing to him more often i've no idea, he's your best reciever you muppet, use him) Great ending as well with McGuinness sacking him and leaving VanDerJagt with a hard field goal which he missed when he should have only had about a 35 yard attempt to knock threw the sticks.

Bring on the rest of the season

I only got 83 points this week - one of my lowest ever. If I hadn't had Vinatieri and Gates in, it would have been much better. WHY didn't I pick Tony G? WHY? Frustrating.

I think this one does go on into the playoffs, as it says "Week 18 team selection" above the list of players. Transfers are still locked, though, so I'm not sure yet...

I got 107 and was joint 471st.

Overall I'm 2034th, which isn't bad seeing as I didn't play the first 3 weeks.

Is it running in the playoffs? I don't think so - all sign up for the fantasy thing http://www.superbowl.com and lets see who is the best predictor ever

Darn Manning won his first game yesterday (well more accurately Tiki Barber won it for him) was hoping he'd go the season without a win so could laugh at him some more.

Ah well the continued drilling of his team mates on the head with the ball shall keep me amused :-D

I swear it said none.

But, after checking the full play-by-play thingy, there appeared to be 2 fumbles.

It doesn't appear on the game stats page though, I don't think.

Maybe the fumbles weren't forced, but accidental.

It tells you the number of interceptions a team made, and the number of fumbles they forced.

Those are turnovers.

Oh, and gerrid, the Superbowl fantasy thing you sent me doesn't seem to be working. I signed up for an ID perfectly well, but it wouldn't let me pick a post-season team. It kept giving off error messages. :-(

Plus 2 turnovers.

Should be 9 points in total. Which is good for me as I never seem to pick good defenses.

Dunno what score I'll get but hopefully Delhomme, McAllister, Muhammad and Moss will be awarded a lot of points for me.
