Anyone catch the Colts vs Patriots game to kick off the start of the 85th NFL season? Was a great way to start the season and i hope all the games are as entertaining. Was in a strange situation where i couldn't care who actually won this as i find New England to be horribly boring and Ty Law to be very annoying (he takes arrogance to a whole new level, he makes Jose Mourinho look like the most modest man in the world) and Indianapolis aren't much better with Peyton 'Most over-hyped player ever' Manning leading the charge.

Was good to hear the greatest commentating duo in all of sports Al Michaels and the legend John Madden back once again, no one can beat them.

But anyway the game, few interceptions thrown by Manning showing just how average he is and proving once more New England is not his favourite place (Vick and McNabb are far better) and Ty Law spending most of the game on the bench and when he did come on he got schooled by Marvin Harrison (and why Manning wasn't throwing to him more often i've no idea, he's your best reciever you muppet, use him) Great ending as well with McGuinness sacking him and leaving VanDerJagt with a hard field goal which he missed when he should have only had about a 35 yard attempt to knock threw the sticks.

Bring on the rest of the season

I picked Gates as well (what was I thinking? Of course they would rest him. ARG.), and Andre Johnson who had 1 catch for 13 yards. Great.

So in the end I calculate that I should have about 106 points. If I'd had Gonzalez it'd be 120, and if I'd had Holt it'd be 143. BAH.

143 would have won it for me for sure, although to be fair I never would have picked Holt going up against a Jets defense with everything to play for.

I had Jake Delhomme, Deuce McAllister, Muhsin Muhammad, Randy Moss and New England, who have all done really well. Then I picked Gates over Gonzalez (WHY WHY WHY?) and Vinatieri (meh).

Should be an all right score eventually.

***May spoil TV games, but I don't know which are televised***

Jeff Reed = best choice for kicker.
Ever.

5 FGs and 2 PAs

Baltimore Defence = awesome.
3 sacks and 3 ints (one returned for TD)

Curtis Martin > 150 yards (no TD's though, WHY DID I NOT PICK ALEXANDER?)

Muhsin Muhammad - 90 yards and 2 TDs
Randy Moss - 66 yards and 1 TD.

Now, Go Gonzalez!
Go Green!

Well lucky Eli Manning you don't get my nomination for worst display of the season (only for the fact i didn't see it but a 0 Quartback rating is just plain pitiful) Instead the winner of the award goes to Drew Bledsoe for his god awful display just now. Did they just pull some guy out the crowd and slap a Bledsoe jersey on or something as some of the plays you wouldn't expect even a little leaguer to make. Throwing to a guy who's standing virtually behind a defender, just standing around with zero movement whatsover in the pocket waving a big sign saying 'Sack me' and THAT play with the rookie running back. It was bad enough he stood still with his back to the defence for 3 seconds but giving that god awful lateral to his runner made it even worse. I'm pretty sure the coach didn't call that.

Ah well time to shave that moustache Cadle
