Anyone catch the Colts vs Patriots game to kick off the start of the 85th NFL season? Was a great way to start the season and i hope all the games are as entertaining. Was in a strange situation where i couldn't care who actually won this as i find New England to be horribly boring and Ty Law to be very annoying (he takes arrogance to a whole new level, he makes Jose Mourinho look like the most modest man in the world) and Indianapolis aren't much better with Peyton 'Most over-hyped player ever' Manning leading the charge.

Was good to hear the greatest commentating duo in all of sports Al Michaels and the legend John Madden back once again, no one can beat them.

But anyway the game, few interceptions thrown by Manning showing just how average he is and proving once more New England is not his favourite place (Vick and McNabb are far better) and Ty Law spending most of the game on the bench and when he did come on he got schooled by Marvin Harrison (and why Manning wasn't throwing to him more often i've no idea, he's your best reciever you muppet, use him) Great ending as well with McGuinness sacking him and leaving VanDerJagt with a hard field goal which he missed when he should have only had about a 35 yard attempt to knock threw the sticks.

Bring on the rest of the season

Would have chatted to you about the game gerrid but i was upstairs in my room watching it instead of the usual watching it downstairs while on the computer.

Both real exciting games and if every playoff games is like this (not likely with the Patriots in the playoffs but meh :-D) then it should be the best playoffs i can remember

While Hasselbeck could have run for it the guy still should have caught it, like the commentator said if you're a wide receiver in the NFL you should be catching stuff like that if you want to stay in the league

San diego field goal from the 21 yard line to win it. Nick Kaeding the rookie will be the first ever rookie with an overtime FG in the post season if he makes it.

I'll tell you ho whe does tomorrow...

THis is the best ending I'e ever seen1

10-17 4th and goal on the 1yd line, brees gos back to throw, avoids a sack, has a man rushing him, throws it up, incomplete, but ROUGHING THE PASSER! 1st and goal on the 1, ist play a pass to Gates TOUCHDOWN. 8 odd seconds left! OT! So exciting!

7-7 at the half. The game is getting progressively more exciting. I know there's no one reading this yet but it needs to be recorded by me. The torrential rain has stopped, which is a shame, and both teams are playing quite well. There was some crazy scenario in the closing seconds of the half where if the Jets forced a punt from the chargers with 9 seconds left, they could fair catch it and then call for an uncontesed "free kick", which is basically a field goal minus any rush. All seems very complicated and surely the Chargers would just punt OB, but it didn't matter in the end because LT got the 1st down. I've never heard of this rule.

I've been emaling [email protected] all night but they haven't read out any of my messages yet. :' (

INCOMPLETE! Hassleback could have run for it! Seahawks are out! Rams are the first .500 team to win a playoff game!

4th and 4 on the 5. 28 seconds left. How much moe exciting can you get. If they miss this pass, they're out. If they make it, it's OT. Their whole season rests on one throw and catch.

I'm staying up all night with this one. Rams Seahawks - 20-27 Rams and 1:52 left on the clock, Seahawks on the Rams 45 with 2 timeouts. Rams burnt all their timeouts in the 3rd Q.

I'm loving it.
