Anyone catch the Colts vs Patriots game to kick off the start of the 85th NFL season? Was a great way to start the season and i hope all the games are as entertaining. Was in a strange situation where i couldn't care who actually won this as i find New England to be horribly boring and Ty Law to be very annoying (he takes arrogance to a whole new level, he makes Jose Mourinho look like the most modest man in the world) and Indianapolis aren't much better with Peyton 'Most over-hyped player ever' Manning leading the charge.

Was good to hear the greatest commentating duo in all of sports Al Michaels and the legend John Madden back once again, no one can beat them.

But anyway the game, few interceptions thrown by Manning showing just how average he is and proving once more New England is not his favourite place (Vick and McNabb are far better) and Ty Law spending most of the game on the bench and when he did come on he got schooled by Marvin Harrison (and why Manning wasn't throwing to him more often i've no idea, he's your best reciever you muppet, use him) Great ending as well with McGuinness sacking him and leaving VanDerJagt with a hard field goal which he missed when he should have only had about a 35 yard attempt to knock threw the sticks.

Bring on the rest of the season

Yes, I only skimmed your description of it earlier, but the highlights were sooooooo good.

Oh, and I think the Colts are going to beat the Patriots.
I have a feeling.
And I HOPE the Falcons beat the Rams, becasue the Rams = gaybys
I want a Colts - Eagles Superbowl

And I have an odd feelign that we might get one.

The Chargers was the most exciting game of Wild Card Weekend by A LONG WAY.

That ITV programme was much better than anything Channel 5 have pulled off in the past three seasons. They actually had a reporter out in Green Bay, plus the set-up of the show was much better. A lot less cheap-looking, and no Mike Carlson.

Too much coverage of Jets-Chargers, though. A more even spread of highlights would have been more appreciated. 20 minutes for a game with 37 points in total, and 3 minutes for a game with 73. Hmmmm.

They are good but Michaels is so SLOW to react sometimes. And because they've seen it all before they don't tend to get very excited, although sometimes Michaels does on big plays.

I hope everyone without Sky watched the highlights on ITV last night. They weren't bad, they'e got a reporter down in America covering all the locker room and press conference stuff, and he actually asked Daunte Culpepper a question. Obviously its not as good as a full game but it's better than nothing, at least they show you all the scoring and big plays. It's also sponsored by Coors, just like on Sky.

Kitbag sells a few for about 50 quid which includes the delivery charge. that's where i got my Ravens Ray Lewis one this xmas.

Oh and boo i thought Moss actually got his ass out but saw on the re-run of the game it was just a pretend moon. Why the commentator was getting so upset over that i don't know, twonk. Michaels and Madden are much better than anyone else

Yeah you can't buy off UK sports sites. I got my Eagles top from the Philly website direct, cost about £100 but nowhere in the UK sells the Eagles tops (oddly), but it was a birthday present, and it has by surname on the back (just by coincidence, however).

Anyway, Moss didn't actually get his ass out, he just pretended to pull his pants down and then he rubbed his still clothed ass on the goal post.

Saturdays games = awesome
Sundays games = a bit boring in the end
me = sad because none of my emales got read out, even though they talked about everything that I said.

This weekend I won't be getting much sleep. I'll be up till 5 in the morning again, reporting on Saturday's games, and I'll most definitely be watching the Eagles - Viking early game.

My predictions for the Championship games?

Patriots - Steelers
Eagles - Falcons

However, my ideal games would be

Jets - Colts
Eagles - Rams

That'll never happen though, because we all know that it'll be a Pittsburgh New England AFC Championship game.

Got Falcons and Raiders tops.

Want Titans, Panthers, Lions and Jaguars. Probably won't get any of them, though.
