Anyone catch the Colts vs Patriots game to kick off the start of the 85th NFL season? Was a great way to start the season and i hope all the games are as entertaining. Was in a strange situation where i couldn't care who actually won this as i find New England to be horribly boring and Ty Law to be very annoying (he takes arrogance to a whole new level, he makes Jose Mourinho look like the most modest man in the world) and Indianapolis aren't much better with Peyton 'Most over-hyped player ever' Manning leading the charge.

Was good to hear the greatest commentating duo in all of sports Al Michaels and the legend John Madden back once again, no one can beat them.

But anyway the game, few interceptions thrown by Manning showing just how average he is and proving once more New England is not his favourite place (Vick and McNabb are far better) and Ty Law spending most of the game on the bench and when he did come on he got schooled by Marvin Harrison (and why Manning wasn't throwing to him more often i've no idea, he's your best reciever you muppet, use him) Great ending as well with McGuinness sacking him and leaving VanDerJagt with a hard field goal which he missed when he should have only had about a 35 yard attempt to knock threw the sticks.

Bring on the rest of the season

I know where I can get a silver Raiders top with 24 (Charles Woodson) on the back.

I'm going to wait and see whether he stays at the Raiders or not, though, seeing as the bandit is unhappy with his contract and doesn't want to accept a new one. Muh.

Eh?

You mean catch a ball? Or catch a cold (because it's fricking freezing if I don't wear a t-shirt underneath)?

Mike was worse than that.

He's the sort of guy that's so unfunny that, when someone tries to tell you a joke on Tuesday morning, you want to laugh, but you can't because he's killed your sense of humour.

But more coverage of NFL would be the greatest thing ever.

Imagine, rather than showing Coronation Street repeats, and crappy assed dramas, tehy'll shove on a game like Raiders - Chiefs.

It would make SUnday much better than it already is.

Great news. ITV had better continue with their coverage, as it's actually been really good so far. Plus, C5 sucked with Mike "unfunniest guy on TV" Carlson, and the sucky repetitive music for everything.

nfluk.com asked me to do a survey for them, and being a kindly sould I did. What is interesting for us, however, is that a lot of the questions were asking whether ITV should expand their coverage of the NFL, and whether I'd like to see more NFL on television, even perhaps some talkshows and highlight shows, as well as general news and player interview programmes. Obviously I said yes to all of the above, but it looks as if, next season, there will be much wider coverage of the NFL, perhaps with a dedicated highlights programme from ITV for all of you terrestrial guys.

Maybe so, but they seemed to do well with their playoff highlights, so I expect this'll be fine.

Maybe she'll swot up on the teams before presenting it.

For general things yes however for sports they usually get someone in who knows their stuff. I'd rather have someone in who knows the game then her stumbling over every little thing. Plenty of other channels that serve up pretty ladies.

Also, Kawada, you'll find that most presenters of most things know nothing anyway.
She'll jsut read it off of a screen most likely.

I'd rather look at a woman that knoes nothing than a old balding fat man that knows everything.

Mhmmm.
