Anyone catch the Colts vs Patriots game to kick off the start of the 85th NFL season? Was a great way to start the season and i hope all the games are as entertaining. Was in a strange situation where i couldn't care who actually won this as i find New England to be horribly boring and Ty Law to be very annoying (he takes arrogance to a whole new level, he makes Jose Mourinho look like the most modest man in the world) and Indianapolis aren't much better with Peyton 'Most over-hyped player ever' Manning leading the charge.

Was good to hear the greatest commentating duo in all of sports Al Michaels and the legend John Madden back once again, no one can beat them.

But anyway the game, few interceptions thrown by Manning showing just how average he is and proving once more New England is not his favourite place (Vick and McNabb are far better) and Ty Law spending most of the game on the bench and when he did come on he got schooled by Marvin Harrison (and why Manning wasn't throwing to him more often i've no idea, he's your best reciever you muppet, use him) Great ending as well with McGuinness sacking him and leaving VanDerJagt with a hard field goal which he missed when he should have only had about a 35 yard attempt to knock threw the sticks.

Bring on the rest of the season

I want the Eagles to win for a variety of reasons.

1 being that the Patriots suck.
2 being that the Eagles rock.

That's 3.

Did that in Canada, actually that's where my collection of football tops began, bought about 10 of them for about 20 quid a pop.

I am praying that the Eagles can win, praying with all my heart that the scabby Patriots don't win AGAIN. DAMN THEM. I just want to see them get a right ass whooping, and deflate the media's love of them.

I've never seen the silver Raiders top (:-O), however, I go to the US this summer to work (with a hell of a lot of pay), so I'm gonna buy like 10 tops while I'm there.

They can't win they just can't. We've already had the Scum Sox win in their sport we can't have another horrible Boston team win (well close to Boston anyway) Course being a New Yorker i may be a bit biased :-D

Ah well least the Celtics are still crap

Dunno about TO. Obviously he'll be a major boost to the Eagles team, but you would've thought Moss would have done better than he did. Ah well, even if he only does a Moss style 3 receptions for about 50 yards, then I suppose he's contributed. So yeah, good news.

Thing is, though, the Patriots secondary (and defense in general really) is lethal, and if Owens ain't match fit, then there's a big chance we'll all be unhappy come 4am on Monday morning. :-(

Looks like TO will be fit for the Superbowl. Wondering what all your opinions are about that, good or bad thing? Owens hasn't played for a few weeks but then someone of his quality should be able to just come back in. Depends on whether he has completely healed or if he'll be a slightly healthier version of Moss. (just without the great hair style, leave that up to Mitchell :-D)
