Well, it's out and I shall be buying it. "Why?!?" I hear you cry ... well, partly because I have the first two and I like closure and partly because I have the missus' nephews and nieces staying with us most weekends and holidays and a certain amount of my DVD purchases have them in mind.

The nephews (who are both 10) love The Matrix and Reloaded so they'll no doubt want to watch it, much the missus' annoyance.

I'd have prefered it if they answered some of the questions raised in the second one for a start.

One thing that wasn't explored in the films, though probably for good reasons, was race, creed etc. The machines "grow" people in their farms and then insert them into the cubicles and link them to the Matrix. However would there be any benefit to the machines if they either; genetically engineered (or bred) humans to live longer (especially in such lethargic states) or if they simply decided to clone all humans or even choose one race to insert into the Matrix?

For instance, Mega city could conceivably be populated ony by "Japanese people", so would the human minds accept this if a: all the humans that populated the Matrix were of Japanese decent or b: all races, creeds etc were populating the Matrix and were "fooled" into thinking that they were Japanese? Does your personality or race, genetic makeup etc define who you are?

Likewise, would a male human mind accept living as a female if it has never known any different?

Well, the missus usually buys me a DVD for Easter so I thought I'd better put off buying Revolutions incase she bought it me. As it turns out she got me The Life Of Brian which is just as good a present, so I've just ordered Revolutions.

Yeah, only very few people reject the Matrix program, so only those few will be freed.
