I heard two people talking about this the other night, and was wondering what you guys thought. Is being gay in your DNA, or is it 'acquired' through your life?

So yeh, enlighten me...

Obviously parents have some influence over the kids behaviour, but here's an example of where it doesn't:

My dad likes horse racing.
I absolutely loathe it.

My dad likes various songs I don't.
He dislikes most I like.

My dad likes Parsnips, I don't.

Etc.

It's a well known fact your childhood is vital to your personality, if you live in a violent home, you will probably turn violent, the same is for homo-sexuality.

It's more the mental state, i.e. if you live in a homo-sexual house, you will soon start thinking like a homo-sexual.
