Or God for that matter. He made us in His image and the earliest Humans were from Asia, so they must have been yellow/brown/whatever skinned. Yet, every Bible printed, every religious image in the Western world shows him as a white man. Why is that? Do you think it could be some subtle form of manipulation for us Honkys? The whole region of Bethlehem, Jerusalem, etc., is in the Middle East area, and I don't see no white folk about. Could it be that the Bible my old school gave me and forced me to learn from was lying to me?

My personal favourite theory, that explains everything about the man called Jesus, is that he was a time-traveller. Think about it. Some mystical bloke, giving it all "that" with extra sass - I'd be pretty lairy if I'd just time-travelled. Healing the sick with modern and future medicine. And he's white. The first time-traveller (if the End of Days hasn't come like you're cheerily predicting) will probably be some white-bred American bloke, so he'll be well-versed in the Bible. It's a good theory, don't knock it. Expect to see the film. Soon. Starring Mark Wahlberg as Jesus. And William Shatner as God. Probably.

We are told in the judgement of believers, the Lord will burn the believers work through a test of fire. If the works were showy, i.e. just to impress others, there will be an outcome of wood, hay and straw as a return for their life, but if their works pass through the judgement of fire with a good outcome, there will be gold, silver and precious stones as a return for their life.

There is a good example Jesus tells of living a sinful life.

"A moneylender had two debtors: one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. "When they were unable to repay, he graciously forgave them both. So which of them will love him more?" Simon answered and said, "I suppose the one whom he forgave more." And He said to him, "You have judged correctly." Turning toward the woman, He said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has wet My feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair.
"You gave Me no kiss; but she, since the time I came in, has not ceased to kiss My feet. "You did not anoint My head with oil, but she anointed My feet with perfume. "For this reason I say to you, her sins, which are many, have been forgiven, for she loved much; but he who is forgiven little, loves little." Luke 7:41-47

For there to be bad, there has to be good to compare with it. Otherwise, how do we know what bad is?

I know of people who have had extremely sinful lives and then accepted Jesus. Nicky Cruz of New York was a street kid involved in the occult practices, heavy drugs, immorality, crime and gang life. He became a ring leader in a gang in New York, before David Wilkerson preached to him and he was saved. From then he has set up his own mission, attempting to reach young people often involved in gangs and violence.

Others like Stephen Lungu of Zimbabwe lived a sinful life before becoming full time missionaries and preachers.

No-one can live a "good life". If it was like that, then no-one would go to Heaven, because no-one can live a good life. Sin is judged ultimately and then works.

Of course there are. Basically Heaven is just perfect, no more death, disease or sorrow etc. But to have rewards in Heaven and other gifts in Heaven, you need to serve the Lord.

That isn't answering my question.

A person commits murder and / or rape during their life, then accepts christ into their heart on their death bed. They go to heaven right?

An agnostic who leads a good and sharing life goes to hell right?

Just look at who Jesus chose as his disciples (Acts 9 Sauls conversion)- Paul wasn't exactly a model follower of Jesus before his conversion.

The "better" I live my life, the better my place in the Kingdom of God. There is also probably a place of outer darkness in the Kingdom of God, which won't be as good as the rest of Heaven.
