You can't spend Channel Islands money on the mainland. Or, you're not supposed to be able - even though there's just different pictures on there.
Although you can spend English money over there.

And they have pound notes.

Not in my experience. I have often taken Scottish notes down to Manchester and Spent them and taken English notes back as change and spent them on my local highstreet.

My points are valid but because I don't know the technical jargon you focus on that. You know it's true, we are not independant countries that's why Scotland still has to fight for it. We are not one country yet but many of us wish it to be one day.
