it seems like a ritual people undertake once a year to make life easier for their partners. in itself not a bad thing, but why not just LIVE like that?? do nice things, help people out, make others feel good?
it certainly comes across as a once-a-year gesture so people can get away with being a bit crap the rest of the year....
well, that's my cynical viewpoint anyways :)
I do cook a mean do-a-dance-chocs-respectively, but it's never made anybody get naked after tasting it.
