Hate to break it to you McLong, but Sath isn't the last boss. There is one in the room after her, KT.

Did the last boss in Naxx last night. That fight actually destroys your PC. Constant major blizzard effects and all kinds of icey destruction.

No, this is at my house. When it's working anyway. :)

So, you 'fixed' it by simply not playing at your house any more?

Back in now, and glad to say I can still run through the heroics falling asleep and /y'ing "ROXXXXXXXXXANNE" at the top of my (pixel-based) lungs.

Managed to sort of sort out my connection (Steady 87ms, no real lag, even in the HOS Wave Boss)

Shh, don't say her name! Not only has see be scaring the crap out of me everytime I log into WoW with my speakers up too loud for the last 2 years, but she is also giving my guild all kinds of problems at the moment :(

Festergut is one of those encounters that looks hard on the surface of things, but once you have a clear idea of what to expect he becomes fairly cuddly (except for the tank healers perhaps).

Just wait until you get the joy to experience the genius that is Sindragosa -_- I'd honestly rate her as maybe the worst boss encounter ever made.

As I mentioned to Butch earlier, I managed to kill the first 4 ICC bosses with my guild last night (10). It went relatively smoothly, which is more than can be said for our attempt on Festergut the other night.

@McLong: The weekly raid quest varies week on week from any raid content this expansion. It just so happens the first week you saw it was Marrowgar. Incidentally this is the first time he has been chosen, I assume they felt the 30% buff made him easy enough for even the worst kind of players (lolknights) to get him down.

@INS: I'm fairly certain the random raid quest varies from server to server, like the old dungeon dailies used to. We have/had Marrowgar this week, Ingvar last, FL before that etc. We've not had a Naxx one for ages, thinking about it...

I'll third doing random dungeons. There's nothing like having a 12 year old screaming at you for sharpening you back up.

I'm curious if your server has a different weekly to mine? I'm sure ours is to kill Noth the Plaguebringer in Naxx. Either way WH you should do the weekly as it gives you nice emblems and a bit of gold. You only have to kill one boss for each weekly and they are usually the first boss you encounter in a raid (or a wing of a raid in the case of Naxx)

Your first daily dungeon will also give you a couple of frost emblems.
