On the news tonight, they used the phrase "Cannabis, a drug tens of thousands of people choose to smoke each week". I think they are seriously underestimating how widespread its use is. I wager everyone on here knows somebody who smokes it, I certainly do. Could decriminalizing the drug work in this country? There are huge benefits for the government in the way that it would free up a lot of police time, which could be used for catching those dealing/possessing harder drugs.
Is there any point whatsoever in downgrading the drug as they have done?
Do you have any views on the drug, or the questions I have asked above?

Whatever happened to people having the right to do what they damn well please? What gives anyone the right to tell us we cannot do things that we have been doing for centuries?
Alcohol and tobacco may be considered vices to you, but people enjoy these products, and should have the right to enjoy them as they see fit, without being persecuted by those who think they know better.
So they kill people, so what! So do fatty foods, I don't see the government telling people they cannot eat cheese sandwiches in public.
A lot of people that smoke weed are wasters, a lot are honest, responsible, law-abiding people, who earn a high wage for jobs that so called sober and straight people can only dream of.
This tarring everyone with the same brush is the main problem with peoples attitudes.
> Heh, never had it.
I had a little over new year from a mate who brought some over from the 'dam. It was called "White Widow" and was so strong it gave me a "hangover" the next day. Noting like a drink hangover, I just felt really weird and a couple of degrees off center....
it was evil vicious...
Just have an image of companies shovelling crap into it.
I would smoke too much if it was on sale

Like the strong c'ap corporate stuff in Amsterdam that'll lay you out for a few hours? ;)
So there
Why should cannabis be restricted to a house... smoke in bars makes my throat hurt like hell the enxt day and stinks all my clothes out.
Therefore causing damage to me so aye.

Thats total c'ap.
And I'd just buy too much because it was easier and it would be crap corproate stuff.
I don't care if you're a forum regulator, a wealthy banker, or the Prime Minsiter of Malasia, you smoke it, you're dumb.

That's a ridiculous thing to say really.
