Well, the drug is being (or has been) downgraded to class C. What does this mean? The government are keen to point out that it is still illegal, that those in possession will still be arrested.

On the news tonight, they used the phrase "Cannabis, a drug tens of thousands of people choose to smoke each week". I think they are seriously underestimating how widespread its use is. I wager everyone on here knows somebody who smokes it, I certainly do. Could decriminalizing the drug work in this country? There are huge benefits for the government in the way that it would free up a lot of police time, which could be used for catching those dealing/possessing harder drugs.

Is there any point whatsoever in downgrading the drug as they have done?

Do you have any views on the drug, or the questions I have asked above?

Yet you clearly break the law with your drug abuse? Doesn;t sound particularly responsible to me...

You'd also have to be pretty sick to suggest that someone is a waster because they intake a particular herb to ease untreatable physical pain. They're not harming anyone, it's a perfectly reasonable explanation, yet they're still a waster? Of course I don't actually wish a crippling disease on you, Jesus. It was light-hearted response to an idiotic statement. You can't just say dumb things like that and not expect a reaction, you clown. Stop tarring everyone with your Big Generalisation Brush™ and perhaps you won't incur the wrath of the people on this forum.

And if driving at 46mph makes me a waster, then I guess I'm just a big ol' wasteroo. I've wasted my life, whatever am I to do etc.

Well, explain then.

You are a member of the police after all.

How is a canabis user in the united kingdom not a criminal?

Because it's definitely illegal and we have a newly launched £1 million campaign by the government to back that up. See, that is 1 million that could have been used elsewhere, but instead has to be used for this. Now unless you have some liberal argument about the value of criminals to society or why some law breaking is okay then I'm wondering what reason you have EB.

While were here, and someone has used the example. If Cannabis use is okay, then it it okay if I do 50 mph around a residential area? Because it's not harming anyone, and I know what I'm doing, honest.

I really don't unerstand what is so precious in your life that you would need to do deliberately break the law in this way. Are you the kind of person that complains when speed cameras are put up?

Well, I did say earlier that position or status wasn;t a consideration, guess you ignored that.

People who can't enjoy themselves without resorting to mind altering drugs to do so, moreover, illegal drugs. Just to get a trip, these morons puff away in blatant contravention of the law.

It's like these idiots think that the law is just an inconvenience, something they have to skip around in order to get what they want, and that f's me off.

Odds are that you'll injure that person far greater than the risk of waiting by moving them into your car and driving faster than it is safer to do so. You also don't know which hospital is the best to go to based on the condition of the person, or even which entrance to go to to get the fastest care. Certain places can treat certain things better or in some situations might not be taking more cases. There are very few cases of this having happened in real life so the situation is quite unlikely.

Unless you happen to have a proper stretcher to hand, which is unlikely.

So? Like I even care, it just shows what kind of person you are Snuggly. You'd have to be a pretty sick f**k to wish that on anyone. Guess that makes you a sick f**k and only lowers further my opinion of you. Which was pretty low before anyway, but I'm guessing that's likewise from your side.

Ah ah, your terminology please - a waster, not an idiot. Does driving at 46mph make me a waster? Honestly Bell, you do tie yourself up in knots.
