Yeah, agree mate BSB was good.Thought after Lorenzo's post race celebrations that Michael Laverty might be tempted to jump into the lake at Oulton Park after the Race 2 !.It was a well deserved and overdue win IMO.I was going to see if I could get Tommy Hill or Stuart Easton in my fantasy team as my Kiyo (my main rider) has blown hot and cold (again) so far this season. Not sure what is going on with him ?,he was amazing a couple of years ago then he just seemed to lose the plot a bit.James Whitham said the same thing commentating on the last race.

I like the way the grid for Race 2 is settled by fastest race laps set in Race 1 but what is this about the championship scores being effectively zeroed for the final 3 races or something ?.I'm presuming this is to add a bit more excitement after last year when Leon Camier walked to the BSB title ?.He thoroughly deserved to win the championship last year as he absolutely blew the field away.I just hope if this is the case (and I've understood the rules correctly) that the correct guy still wins the title.

WSBK at Monza this weekend, reckon Camier should be able to put the awesome straightline speed of that Aprilia to good use there.

I'm planning on making a few cuts - thinking more strategically I think it would be better to make sure BSB and WSB have the best riders as they have double the races (and points) and then choose the GP riders with the money left.

Enjoyed BSB this weekend, shame about the rain but still good to watch (I think Tommy Hill is going to be included in my team!).

The GP only really got interesting in the last few laps, it was great watching Lorenzo dispense with everyone, and to see some aggression from Pedrosa, normally he just panics and falls off!

I've got a feeling Lorenzo might just pull something out of the bag for his home race though.

And I put a tenner on him as well !,good times :)

Kallio seemed to finally find the 'go' switch,so all in all it was a good day at my MCN Fantasy office.

Brilliant to see Hayden continuing to do so well and most importantly he outraced Stoner.Rossi did a decent job in damage limitation mode while Spies was just plain unlucky.Pedrosa showed us that he can race when he really wants to,think the fact that it was Lorenzo trying to pass him at his home race that might have just given him that extra bit of motivation !.Dovi was a bit anonymous on the other Repsol bike which was a bit of a surprise seeing how strong he was at the last race ?.

Overall it was a good race and a well deserved win for Lorenzo.BSB tomorrow, should be good.

Yeah,I agree.Pedrosa always seems to be whinging about something about his bike (usually that his feet can't reach the floor !).I have found some of comments he has made in public about his bike/team in the past to be pretty unprofessional.Remember when he stated last year that he only signed again for the team because there were no Yamaha seats available, that was truly bizarre IMO.Now Honda have ex Ducati boss Livio Suppo running their GP team he will have only one objective and that is to turn Repsol Honda back into world champions again. He is not exactly known for his patience and understanding nature and I can't believe that some of the comments Pedrosa has made would have impressed him very much at all.I just have a feeling that Pedrosa might not be in his long term plans ?.I reckon Suppo will attempt to lure Stoner,Lorenzo or maybe even Spies over for 2011.

Thinking of that video still makes me laugh - I wonder what animal it is this weekend?

Even though Pedrosa got pole he was still moaning about his bike - the amount that man moans I wouldn't be surprised if his engineers sabotage his bike so Honda get rid of him next year!

It can't be that bad surely, I mean Leon Haslam rode race 1 last weekend with an under-inflated tyre which I'd guess presents "stability and balance issues" but he just got on with it and that's not in the premier class of racing - should Pedrosa not be a better rider and therefore better able to deal with anything the bike throws at him?

Yeah, just checked the qualifying times and reckon Kallio needs a Sat Nav on that Ducati as judging by his times looks like he must have got lost !.

Still, qualifying times were all very tight so we should be in for a good race tomorrow.

I'm not all surprised to see Spies going well,I rate him very highly.I'm really looking forward to Silverstone (which will be new to everyone) & Assen (where he has actually raced before).Reckon he could well get to add to his beloved key chain collection ! :)

Sorry mate but Free Practice Two Results would suggest that you shouldn't hold your breath with Mika Kallio taming the Ducati!

Spies is much improved from yesterday though!

If I asked her to do that I would just get 'that' look, you know the one only women have ! :)

That would be great wouldn't it ?.Read an interview with Hayden where he said that before Ducati started development on the 2010 bike he had a series of good long chats with the senior design engineers and told them what he really liked and didn't like about last years bike.Well, they listened and reckon its fair to say that the team now have 2 quick riders. What I reckon will be interesting is how Stoner deals with the situation. He doesn't handle pressure well at the best of times, not sure he's going to like it when it comes from the other side of his own garage.Just waiting for the Pramac team to start getting some of the technology from the 2010 bike as Mika Kallio is in my MCN team !.

Thought it might be worth a try! Maybe Mrs Pete_21 could write a sick note?

Just checked the results and saw Hayden in third - maybe a bit early to say but is he going to be the one who got to grips with the Desmo?
