See what you mean about Stoner though - he seems to come off more when he's in the pack rather than out at the front - but either way he's not having a good start whether it's the bike or him.
Was a bit busy this weekend so only caught the 1st BSB race. Stuart Easton did well to walk away from his crash and Kiyo put in an impressive ride.
Literally no idea what happened in race 2, didn't have enough room on the sky+ plus box for the whole program! I'm sure Eurosport will show it over and over this week!
The mountain section is awesome, I'd love to ride it, but if I took off like that I know that something nasty would end up happening. I'd have to go over in 5th gear at low revs to make sure I was ok!
Watched Cadwell BSB when I got in from work this evening.Fantastic to see Kiyo back on form in Race 1 but Josh Brookes was just awesome over the mountain section wasn't he ?.Just found this ,check out how much air he was getting, that takes enormous balls.
Just noticed next weekends WSBK round from the US is on Bank Holiday Monday, starting around 7PM,must remember that.

I reckon he only retired to get some peace from his Mrs. ! :)
Remember the Aprilia thing at the end of last season ?,he was seen in very deep conversation in their pit garage which only fuelled the comeback rumours further. This years WSBK championship has probably been the strongest since Bayliss and Edwards epic title scrap back in 2002.Conditions for him are perfect : Spies has gone, his beloved Ducati are massively underperforming and he quite clearly still has both the speed and desire.I don't subscribe to this ''he's too old'' crap,he is only a few years older than Checa,Corser and Biaggi and they all still seem to be doing alright.
Just been reading the interview with Haga in MCN,he admits he plagued by a fear of crashing following his big off at Donington last year and one he had at Phillip Island at the start of this season (unsurprising Ruben Xaus was the culprit on that occasion and that guy has crashed more times than Windows Vista !).Still,I found it a sad article to read with Haga very honestly blaming no one other than himself for his lack of performance and admitting he feels he can no longer cut it against todays younger riders.Be very sad if he ends his career in this way.
Le Mans this weekend, usually a happy hunting ground for the Yamaha's and Cadwell BSB is usually a decent round as well. The Mountain section there is the most awesome piece of track in the UK IMO.
Not bad for some retired dude.........

No mate, that was a false alarm. It was done under a safety car so it wasn't allowed !.
Got to say both Superbike Championships deserve to be shown on terrestrial TV (especially WSBK) and not some crappy highlights program shown at stupid o'clock 2 weeks after the race.Even stopped free web access on the WSBK site for 2010,surprised the series sponsors haven't had something to say about that TBH.
Did keep expecting the front pack to wipe each other out though - really good to watch!

Can't see why WSB et al don't get more coverage either, especially with the British contingent involved I guess people are just more used to Cars - and everyone likes a little doze on a Sunday afternoon!
Roll on Cadwell, and Le Mans!

Yeah, don't suppose those young whippersnappers would show him too much respect !.Would be really interesting to watch though.
WSBK was good yesterday (especially race 2,wow !!!).Fabrizio had a much better weekend but Haga was nowhere again ?.Not sure what happened to Camier in Race 2 he had a shocker.Haslam rode his nuts off and showed just how badly he really wants this championship. Can't believe this fantastic series isn't more popular TBH,the racing has been superb this year.Bit bemused as to why F1 is so popular (apparently yet another dull race again yesterday) when WSBK rarely fails to give us anything less than top class entertainment.
>Not sure what this would mean for its current contracted riders though ?
A P45 I think!
Though maybe they will fun three factory bikes? I can't see their problems are due to the riders, both were glued to the front last year and this year (after some fairly big back room changes) they aren't doing so well, especially Fabrizio.
I guess Haga has shown his riding ability working his way through the field in some races, but it's still not what you'd expect.
I agree though it would be good to see Bayliss back, but he might have a nasty surprise when the WSB british armada keep darting down the inside!
