Been to SIlverstone today and got to sample part of the new infield section.Drove it first in a Ferrari 360 Modena then a Lotus Exige. It has a very fast entry speed which leads into a pretty technical section which I reckon will be very busy for the Moto GP boys.Looking forward to the race reckon its going to be mega.

Bout November time I think.

Checa was kicking major ass in both races yesterday but he broke down in them both (from what appeared to be the same problem).I was gutted for him TBH,he was pretty much the fastest guy all weekend and yet came away with less points than the UK's Eurovision entry ! :D

WSBK race 1 is 7pm tonight and race 2 10.30pm.

Superpole was interesting, the circuit looked a right old dusty hillbilly track with quite a few of the top riders being caught out by it.Races should be interesting with Checa looking to have really tamed the place,so at least Chris should be happy ! :)

Thanks mate, Funnily enough, there was no sign of anyone. Not sure at this stage whether someone tried to have it away and didn't see the disc lock (it's bright yellow!), and dropped it when they couldn't move it, or just thought they'd play on the bike (as they do make you look cool!) and messed up. Interestingly, it was in gear so someone was messing. Needless to say one is not amused.

Only new handlebars, indicator casing, gear and clutch lever and I can get going again......I've never resented driving to work so much!

@Chris, well done! If you're not last, who is? I hope it's not me.

Edit: It's not me it is Walrus GP, so Freeola staffie Dean5. Though I have dropped a place. Dammit Pete!

I think you have to be insane or have no sense of self preservation to race superbikes, the fact that we both think it'd be scary either means we should try to prove ourselves wrong, or stay well away!

Still haven't had a chance to watch race 2 - what with finding time to watch the finale of Lost (which I'm still not sure was worth the time), and a few other things - namely someone tipping my bike over and causing enough damage to make my wallet hurt! - I just haven't got round to it.

Nice! - apparently there should be plenty of decent viewing opportunities there now! Judging by weather at previous British GPs, you may regret the absence of aforementioned 'dodgy jumper'!
