GP was rubbish,it was like 2 wheeled F1.Hope Silverstone is much better than that.

Race direction seem to have opened a whole can of worms with the Simoncelli penalty, another one handed to Zarco in the 125 race (who did pretty much what Rossi did to Gibernau a few years back) while the Simon/Sofuoglu crash in Moto 2 is apparently now being looked at by race direction? Really sorry to hear that Simon has broke his leg in 2 places in that crash but if that was not a racing incident then I honestly don't know what is? Sofuoglu went down hard and unfortunately took Simon with him, that was it really.Anyway, whatever they said to Simoncelli on Thursday seemed to work,he looked almost afraid to race anyone yesterday. Can't see that lasting very long though!

Just checked, there is no live TT races being shown on ITV4 looks like it is 9PM every night. I had to check as my Mrs. now wants to watch them after seeing the film!! :0

Yeah both Conor Cummins and Guy Martin have got huge ones to return after their accidents last year, respect to both of them.Conor Cummins is still far from fully repaired so I would say getting to the chequered flag would be an achievement in itself for him.

Hopper would have been a logical choice but it doesn't look like that's going to happen (presume Suzuki might have had something to say about it?).It's a difficult one, there's a definite lack of bikes and the WSBK riders are all busy at Misano next weekend.Suppose one of the BSB guys could step in? (Shakey/Kiyo for Honda,Hill/Laverty for Yamaha?) but what if they got injured and threw away their chances of the BSB crown? With the 'wonderful' shootout system any of those could in theory win it.Hope they don't dig up some 90 year old Japanese blokes to chug around at the back of the field doing little more than improving the bikes MPG!

Looks like Edwards has just joined Pedrosa in the broken collarbone club, doesn't look like either of them will be racing at Catalunya or Silverstone.Field now down to just 15 bikes if neither are replaced, that's not good.

Yeah, I saw that - apparently, Hopper has been approached by both HRC and Tech 3 about covering - From the MCN.

TT racing starts tommorrow. It's being covered on ITV 4 if anyone's interested (at I think around 9pm daily).Guy Martin has to win one this year.

Should be live on ITV 4 around 12 ish ~(unless I read it wrong) - Really can't believe Connor Cummins is racing at all, let alone this year - They showed his crash on the build up programs in the week, and he literally flew down the side of a hill, and bounced his way down. Crazy People, but still good to watch!

Shame about the 3D hurting your eyes.I'm not a fan of 3D films myself, haven't seen anything I thought was even slightly enhanced by it TBH.I don't know if TT is being shown anywhere in 2D? Seriously, you would miss nothing seeing it in that format IMO.Don't really want to say too much about the film as I wouldn't want to spoil any part of it.What I would say though is that it is a completely different kind of movie to something like I,Superbiker. That was interesting, enjoyable and worth a watch but I could really only see that appealing to bike racing fans (my Mrs. was bored to tears with it).TT3D (or in your case hopefully 2D!) is a film which I felt you actually get drawn into and experience,it's extremely well made.

Cadwell should be a great round to attend, look out for a certain low flying Relentless Suzuki over the mountain!

Just got back from seeing TT3D and what a fantastic film it is.As the end credits rolled it got a 'wow' from my Mrs! The 3D as I have found with most films is a cheap gimmick which adds little but other than that it is absolutely superb and definitely not just for petrolheads. It is a heartfelt and realistic portrayal of one the worlds most famous motor racing events and one which a lot people don't really 'get'.Worth the admission price for Guy Martin alone,he is comedy gold.So glad I made the effort to catch it,best film I have seen this year by far.

Sounds good, on the strength of that maybe I'll try to catch it at the cinema (though 3d films do really make my eyes hurt).

Got some weekend tickets for Cadwell over the august bank holiday last night, only £30 each - not bad at all!

Alex Lowes confirmed yesterday at MSS Kawasaki, hence one hastily modified Fantasy Team!

On a more serious note Stuart Easton's injuries seem to be worse than first reported. There is fear his injuries may be career ending but seriously hope that's not the case. This years NW 200 was an event to forget for a number of reasons, bomb scare, horrendous weather and a 2 mile long oil slick,it's not as if road racing wasn't dangerous enough already! Michael Dunlop made me laugh though when they asked him if he was concerned about the conditions ''Nah,it's grand''

Off to see TT3D with the Mrs. tonight,I found out that 2 weeks of sulking and never stopping going on about something actually gets a result.I'm sure most women are already blissfully aware of this tactic it just never occurred to me that blokes could use it as well!

I just tried it and seemed to work OK? Didn't actually confirm the changes as my team is unbelievably awesome already.
