Some good news for RPG fans who went with the PS3 like myself.

Dragon Age: Origins released Europe on Oct 23 Info
Its more an action/adventure/RPG of the Fable nature from the looks. But you have multiple playing paths which is always good for playability.

White Knight Chronicles released Nov '09 Q&A
More Final Fantasy style'd then DA:O and apparently with great online capabilites so..... much awaited.

Demon's Souls released Oct 6th Info
More action/RPG again but hey, we can't afford to be picky. Game footage looks ok, and previews seems decent. The online aspect seems good, allowing users to pop in and help youat any time if you wish, but this quote troubles me "but we were told that at a certain point in the game--once you've received a particular stone--you can force your way into another player's game and vice versa."

There is also some more info on.....

Final Fantasy 13!!!! Release Date Early 2010
Seems to have a lot more information than when I last looked on the Wiki Page

UPDATE 20/08
Here
A new Tri-Ace game, for PS3! Fans of Lost Odyssey rejoice!

Couple of interesting point here too [LINKhttp://www.rpgamer.com/news/Q2-2009/042209a.html]Linky[/LINK]

Did some more levelling last night, got a little bit further, but only had a limited amount of time on it.

Now at
Show Spoiler

Really liking the game and i am fairly strong as nothing as come close to hurting me much, if i transform to the knight, most Boss battles take a few hits and then it is done!

Gone with;

Leonard - Sword and Shield, Medium Armour. Hits hard and has a good defense, but quick to act!

Avatar - Longsword, Heavy Armour. Pretty much rock solid defense and hits hard aswell.

Yullie - Bow, medium armour. Uses Magic to heal and attacks from distance, seems to work well.

I know this aint the best way to go from what i have read but i seem to be doing fine and i like the wepons / look etc (which i find important lol)

Really enjoying the game and hopefully i can complete the main story before FF13 comes out, then i can come back to the Online later!

Hmmmm - maybe i should turn Yullie into using a Bow aswell.....

Might mix her between the two, she is handy with the healing spells and as her INT is higher it replenishes more. She does do some magic. I think i will put her in the middle.

Then just work on using Leonard as Big Hitter with good HP, the Avatar will be similair i imagine aswell, just so when i am Online i can use the type of charatcer i like.

The reason I avoided using the otehr chars as mages was becuase they don't actually seem to use the spells....

Still got mine as, Leonard with Spear tanking, Yulie with Bow, no armor dps'ing, my avatar as healer/mage.

Bear in mind that only two trees have mp replenishing skills which are Staff and err...... something else :S

Will be a good mix, mage healer, and then taking the beatings (if we don't get a proper tank)

Played a bit more last night, not very much at all as i was only about for a little while.

Got into the tunnels, but spent some time before hand levelling up, so have hit level 10, and focused all points on STR and HP attributes, seems to be working well.

I have got Yullie as a Mage, focusing on INT and MP, along with healing spells and offensive magic.

Avatar i have with a Longsword and has STR and HP pushed up.

Leonard (who i control) i have with an Axe and focused on STR and HP attributes, along with some new moves.

Eldore is not in my party but he has a longsword and i have done the same with him as my Avatar really.

I was thinking about getting Leonard with a Sword and Shield, i like swords better than axes, plus i can still gain the attributes from the axe section!

The demo does not do it jusice, i was not over impressed with it, and when i finally got it and started playing i was so thankful i had actually bothered to get it.

Star Ocean (from what i played) was a 7/10, ToV was a 9, maybe a 10/10

I played the demo and didn't really think it was much different to Star ocean. Let's hope it is...

I guess since it has dropped to this price it will be back down again, it is a fantastic RPG and worth picking up when you have time.

I got the str and tehn went into spears with leonard, and will get HP as I go.

Also by the way, something the game does not explain. You have two types of "speeds".

One is the time it takes for the circle to fill up, the other is the time it takes from you hitting X to when the avatar actually hits the enemy, does whatever.

These are effected by armor and weapon type used. Armor comes in cloth, ligh and heavy (although how you determine this I don't know). Cloth seems to always have RES+ on it....??

Fastest weapon is bare handed, and heaviest is staff/spear.

How it works out the speed I don't yet know.

[i]So basically, have your "Tank" wear heavy armour, everyone who is doing damage give lighter armor
