Have you ever imagined what it would be like to be deaf? How disorientating it could be, and how much you would miss out on everday sounds of the world? Do you think you would rememeber what your family and friends sounded like when you could hear them? How do you think you would cope?

I went a bit deaf a couple of hears ago in my left ear with an infection of some kind. Thankfully its back to normal, it was really frustrating, it felt like i was trapped inside my head.

I'm not poking fun actually, when I make jokes, I try to cheer people up. Evidently, you don't see that. You think I'm insensitive? YOu should see my friends, on a gold course and we see decapitated mouse, what do they do? Squeeze it with their feet to push the organs out from it's body.

Suddenly I don't seem so bad, do I?

That's harsh.

You could have said something other than the word "hear"

Sorry bout that Lindgren, I can't help pick out jokes like that.
I sorta know how it feels, my hearing has become quite terrible actually, I presume I will be deaf within 15 years for sure. It really does make me said thinking about it, people can talk straight to myface, yet, I have no idea what they just said.

But, look on the bright side, at least a house near an airport won't bother you. Unless you can see it of course.
