yeah, I intend purchasing it, two of my mates have it and it's great for a good laugh after the pub.

seen the gareth cheeseman character off coogans run? v. similar to partridge.

I watched the first series this weekend, still probably one of the best British sitcoms of all time, right up there with Fawlty Towers.

Also worth getting the DVD for the commentary tracks, one by Steve Coogan, Peter Bayhnam and Armando Iannuci (very funny ini it's own right) and another by Alan Partridge himself, and his PA Lynn. They're both excellent, though I liked Steve Coogan's comments about what he says when people ask him what's in 'the drawer'.
