I've made a RAW thread which is basically for discussing what happens on RAW. Every week just talk about what happened on RAW, I never actually see that much talk about each show so I've decided to make this thread. Whatever you do PLEASE don't put any spoilers in or if you really have to do it after Friday Night.

I think this seems like a good idea but if you guys don't like it just let it die, however, if this works out I'll make a smackdown thread soon enough.

Hmmm, I dunno. Selling has never really been of greatest importance in my years of attentive viewing. It sort of makes everything seem more ‘fake’ which has been a long-suffered ringing in the ears of wrestling fans for decades. By all means, sell a Chokeslam or Elbow Drop off the top rope, for example. Yes, it does make a thud, and then one can follow that up in a seemingly natural and realistic way by exaggerating the pain, thus presenting the action smoothly yet not necessarily predictably. But any wrestling fan that can watch Nunzio’s reaction to a 619 and not hang their head in shame has no self-respect. In regard to previous comments about chain-wrestling, personally I have often found this unvaried and trite. Once again, this falls into the opinion column. There is, of course, the argument that if anything in wrestling is unvaried it’s the move repertoire of the more powerful wrestlers in the business who come out and do the same moves week in, week out. Despite this, these moves never cease to amaze me when compared to the ostensibly lame action emanating predominantly from the Cruiserweight division.

My main problem with 'Big guys' is, that either through lack of ability, or through some sort of feeling that because they'reig, they don't need to, their selling of moves (or non-selling is perhaps more appropriate) is abysmal. Making their opponets look bad. Legends like Flair and Hart understood the value of selling for an opponent, wheras The Undertaker still doesn't.

It doesn't... I'd rank the Chokeslam way above the 619. But then again, I'd rank the Walls of Jericho above both... :D

Obviously we have very different opinions on what makes a good wrestling match and wrestler. Personally i find nothing at all entertaining by the big freaky steroid abusers such as Batista and Morgan. Ooooh you can hit a spinebuster that makes a thud, well done now how about putting on some good fast paced chain wrestling? Shame they can barely pull off one move without botching it let alone 5 or 6 put together.

That's what i like about the cruisers and technical guys like jericho and benoit, they can all chain wrestle and put lots of moves together and make it look good. With the big guys it's punch, punch, punch, throw into ropes, big move, punch, punch, punch etc etc etc That to me is just boring 'wrestling'

But everyone has their own opinion and i respect yours, just can't say i agree with it.

And I applause the technically gifted, but not the technically boring. A submission hold? OK, if it was a Tazzmission perhaps and I suppose I could name a couple more, but it sure would have to be good to be as awesome as a Chokeslam or a Powerbomb. We've pretty much exhausted the establishment that we both have very different ideas of entertainment, but I remain intensely curious as to what's so great about a 619, for example, and how does it rank above a Chokeslam?

Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! etc.
I'd sell out to Vince McMahon any day of the week, but never to Hollywood. Besides, The Rock didn't even leave on a good note - he threw away all his pride replacing the Hawaiian shirts and $500 shoes with cruddy sportswear and leather, the ingenious catchphrases with talk about his "strudel" and the third person with the first! Now I'm no big fan of the Hurricane (the dude's a pansy underneath that cape) but it seems his quote is most applicable right now:
What's up with that?

Oh! Big up Cong Woman! She's a rocky fan too! I admit, at first I was a little heart-broken when Rock went Hollywood but oh well, I'd probably do the same thing :P ROCKY! ROCKY! ROCKY!
