I've made a RAW thread which is basically for discussing what happens on RAW. Every week just talk about what happened on RAW, I never actually see that much talk about each show so I've decided to make this thread. Whatever you do PLEASE don't put any spoilers in or if you really have to do it after Friday Night.
I think this seems like a good idea but if you guys don't like it just let it die, however, if this works out I'll make a smackdown thread soon enough.

heh Eugene despite his gimmick is actually very fundamentally sound and i haven't seen him screw anything up yet. I'd rate him better than Orton, the only impressive thing he does is a dropkick, which if they pushed all the guys who could do that there'd be about 70 contenders for the belt

some quick thoughts:
Orton to lose to Benoit, HHH to become number 1 contender, win the strap, feud with Orton (furthering the "legend killer" thing... plus i read that HHH is having a face turn at some point soon??)
quite enjoyed the Iron Man match this week.... was happy with the way it all went at the end, although i have to say the thing that impresed me most was Eugene dead-lifting that ref :)
and yes, Batista looks amazing, although so would you if you were as jacked on steroids ;)

Even as Orton's biggest fan I'm not sure he's ready for the World Heavyweight Title...and I don't think he'll work as a face either...okay so he gets cheered now, but that's because people like his heel character.
I'd hate to see him turn into a bumlicker like Edge.
But hey, looks like my hopes for Live N Loaded are finished...by then he'll be a face, will have a new entrance etc. :S

Looks like Orton will go over Benoit at SS seeing as i doubt Benoit can do a HHH and hold the strap for ages. Meh, pushed to soon for someone totally over-rated. I wonder if Orton looked like Eugene they'd be so quick to push him?

I like both wrestlers so I didn't really know who I wanted to win, BUT I really do wanna see Randy Orton as a heel at Live N Loaded...so I was gunning for Benoit in the end, despite Congie's earlier post, because if HHH HAD won then it would almost have been 100% certain that Randy would be turning face...
I'm still not sure Randy is ready for the World Title...and so I'm not sure if he will win the title at SummerSlam.
Either way, looks like all the annoying fans that didn't like Randy before are gonna be jumping on my bandwagon by the time Live N Loaded comes around... :(

Ant, they are moving Orton out of the IC title picture for a reason. The latest plans from backstage are to have Benoit hold the title until Summerslam, move HHH onto a feud with Eugene and push Orton into the title picture. A win for Orton at Summerslam, or shortly after, will instantly lead to a feud with HHH, jealous at being upstaged by one of the 'inferior' member of evolution and hey presto WWE title feud gold, at least on paper. Where all this leaves Benoit is another matter, but Ant, at least there are big plans for your 'boy'. Edge meanwhile is definetly going to turn heel.
