Yup, just saw The Matrix yesterday for the first time ever and here are a couple of things that went through my head.

It was simple, why was it made out to be so complicated?
Bullet-time was under-used
Hand to hand combat was rather crap

Are you staying after you're de-staffied?

Saying that, I loved the film, and few films since have emulated the great fight scenes.

Still, it makes me laugh, half the things they say,

"Trinity...... help!"

Yeah, go away now.

Bruce Lee did good fight scenes, Jackie Chan does humourous fight scenes, the Matrix Lobby scene was a superbly well stylised fight scene. It wasn't a technically superb piece of martial arts combat, it wasn't the world's greatest gun battle, but it was stylish.

And yes, the plot has more holes than a sieve.

Well I can only speak from expirence, and I haven't seen that...

I saw Shanghai Knights and it made me cry it was so bad.

I think the plot is okay.
Saying that, I won't be going to see the Matrix Reloaded.
After getting over the initial excitement of watching the trailer, I've begun to notice that the whole thing just looks just so, tacky.

I still like the original though.
Not as much as Goodfellas, but still.

Oh please.



If think The Matrix has a brilliant plot than you think Terminator has a brilliant plot.


It's just a back drop for lots of guns and fighting.

The film's plot is untouchable.
