Well, another day and another attempt to get the kids to bed on time failed. I'll have to sort that out.
Doing work in school over the next few days, so I doubt I'll have time to be on much before the evening.

Morning all.
Been a bit handy in the house yesterday and trying multiple techniques of trying to keep warm whilst I finish off my dissertation. I can't afford the time or the expense of finding fingerless gloves (or gloves for that matter) and have since put fingerholes in old socks (quite effective!).
I have also made a "dissertation hub" . Seems to be warmer in my room, and the home made heat reflector is good for supporting my radiator when the heating comes on. The only thing I am missing right now is natural daylight, but as a future optometrist I feel I should get used to this "dark all day" lifestyle sooner rather than later!

Another late night with my eldest up and not wanting to go to sleep, then me up early this morning. Hopefully I can get through the day without dozing off!

No snow here this morning, just a cold, miserable day. Not complaining though as with all the football on today I doubt I'll even put a foot outside my house today!

Must have been cold. Even we saw about 2 seconds of snow, but that was about it.
And after the 'styrofoam' hailstones at 4 pm ish, we now have a nice covering of the 'white stuff' ... bejesus!
And it's chucking it down with snow again here!
Simply put: if you don't want to pay the fine, don't speed in the first place.
In really fed up with cars that tailgate me and are obviously annoyed by me doing the speed limit, so I have no sympathy for those who are fortunately caught speeding.
