Evening.

Well, back to work tomorrow and no doubt a full inbox of joyful things to keep me busy.

Tomb Raider is looking pretty good. I might look at getting that once I've completed a few more games..

Mrs DL had an email today from Tesco ....

"As a first step, today I am announcing that from July all of our fresh chickens will come from UK farms. No exceptions. We will also move, over time, to ensure that all the chicken in all of our products - fresh and frozen – is from the British Isles.

We are building on our partnerships with farmers so everyone gets a fair deal. It's the right thing to do for British agriculture and for you, our customer.

I can assure you that everyone at Tesco is committed to ensuring our entire product range offers the highest quality. This applies as much to our Everyday Value range as to our Finest range. We know that, no matter what you spend, everyone deserves to eat well. Whatever a customer is able to afford, there can be no compromise - what's on the pack (and only what's on the pack) is what will be in the product."

Tell me how does horse meat connect with chicken products?

Send to my email at 4am Tuesday. I was not home, nor was I awake.

Japan 1 RMail -1 ?

I caught my mailman putting a 'Sorry we missed you note through my door' the other day. I was walking round the back to meet him at the front (we don't use front door). In that short time (possibly 30 seconds?) he was walking back to the door to put the note in 0_o

Japan 1 RMail -2

Also sent a letter, next day recorded delivery, a while back. It turned up 8 days later.

We wrote to complain, and got a letter back apologising, giving us a refund for the cost (recorded was around £7.00, and we got 6 1st class stamps - £3.00 - who's doing the math?).

The kicker? They said next time we wanted to do next day delivery, we should use special delivery. As opposed to recorded next day (that's the name of the service).

I don't know how bad they are in your area, but we use to have to drive to the sorting office on the outside of town, Monday to Friday between 10am and 1pm.

It's a 2TB external HDD by the way. Remember to do your backups guys.

Evening all ...

@HM ... it's always good to keep the right side of the 'landlord' as there's your 'deposit' to think about!

Babysitting starts again tomorrow for 3 days, so breakfast will be at 8 am if anyone is interested and will either be Banana Porridge or Tropical Fruit Porridge :¬)

In Sheffield for most of today, yet another foggy and drizzly drive up and down the M1! Mother-in-law had a hospital appointment ... now I ask you!!!

Thanks DL. Unfortunately found we aren't allowed candles in the house (well, especially as its in the contract and our landlord is coming in this week...). Still, will be something to prepare for in the future.

It's amazing, I have raised the temperature in the room by a few degrees, which my housemates seem to have noticed. I think they want me to create radiator shields for them too!

Like the 'hub' HM but where are the 'long burn' candles I mentioned? They'd be ideal in that closet ;¬)
