Am I right that in both cases it was their children who racked up the bills on these accounts? Even though these people may have been foolish to have allowed this to happen those bills do seem seriously excessive for what they were.

Optitians appointment for my 8 year old this morning. I'm expecting to be told she needs glasses, judging by all the issues she has seeing the whiteboard and screen at school.

Well ... another fun packed day on Freeola forums!
Never mind, I've just had a request to 'add' an extra day to my 'granddad' duties next week ... so now it's 4 days out of 5 ... that stops me decorating as I had planned! Never mind, there is always the week after.

As for me, yesterday was a very interesting day, lots of weird and wonderful conditions seen in my clinics and thoroughly knackering. Learnt a lot from it though, although kind of glad my clinics are now over for the week!

Hope your granddaughter is feeling better. I'm sure she got plenty of care and attention with you there, anyway.
Fully understand if people are busy, though. I've been pretty busy this week so far, what with school and then catching up on all my projects at work after that.
Still, I have 2 more pieces of Toblerone to munch through and some mint and nettle tea while I catch up with TV.

I've been 'otherwise' engaged with:
a. granddaughter, who was sick before she arrived and then arrived plus bedding to wash and look after as usual.
b. new patio windows needed attention, so fitter finally arrived today following a phone call from his firm claiming that my address didn't exist in his SatNav! It did 2 months ago ;¬)
Maybe 'the Den of Iniquity' will pick up as the days get longer and warmer ... I doubt it pb
