Father-in-law in September and now my dad ... far too much to do without Christmas slipping in there! Shame really but any 'festive spirit' has completely evaporated at the moment with so much to do and too many barriers put in your way to conduct matters swiftly and conclusively!
Never mind, I'll wish you all a very happy and merry Christmas now and hope that the New Year brings you all success in what ever you choose to do :¬)
How is everyone's Christmas plans coming along? All our presents are bought now but we still haven't got the decorations or tree up yet. I've sorted out where we'll be on Christmas Day and Boxing Day too.
It's christmas down in your county again for us. 28 bottles of cider await and 7 nights in which to work on them.
The decorations are all up and surprisingly the kittens haven't pulled the tree down... yet.
It's always double the sorting for us since its my daughter's birthday on boxing day which means double the presents to try and get back home.
First chance I've got to pop on here today, not that it looks like there has been that much activity!

Ah, Monday again. Still, only one more Monday at work before the Christmas holiday, so can't grumble.
Looks like Amazon cancelled my last Freeola win (Smash Bros pack with the Gamecube adaptor) and a lot of other people have had the game cancelled too. Looking at the comments, there are some furious customers out there. I'll just grab the game and try to get the adaptor another time, it's only a game (and not as if I'm paying so just glad to have something).
I'm glad it all working out for you guys.
So far altaranga, so far!
Thanks DL, it's certainly a weight off my shoulders for now. Good to hear that you're getting through things with all the stuff to sort out.
Christmas Party went well, in a museum this year. The atmosphere was a lot better than previous years and none of the exhibits came to life, though it's the first time I've ever been told to turn right at the elephant to find the toilets...
Yesterday's arrangements with the Funeral Directors and banks went extremely smoothly ... especially with the banks!
Just finished a morning of telephone calls to various companies. Some were brilliant, yet others requested copies of the death certificate and the Will. Luckily, they accepted an email with attachments...which I've just completed. Now for a shed load of shredding.
Have a good day ...
Just had a call and it's good news, looks like I've still got a job for now.
Nice one pb ... I know that that info will ease the mind. Happy for you.
