Descision at lunch time became a decision at tea time ... meanwhile his entire arm has become terrible swollen! my youngest son has had his right hand crushed by a metal bending machine earlier this afternoon!
After many hours waiting in A&E he has now been admitted for at least the weekend and is now awaiting surgery early tomorrow morning ... an 'open fracture' and plastic surgery have been mentioned ... not good!
Daughter-in-law mentioned that she'd bought him an XBox One for Christmas last week ... not a lot of good now, now that his right hand may likely be inoperative!
Isn't Christmas great! A time for family and family celebrations ... fat chance Santa!

Busy day today at work, plenty to do including a few hours at a homeless shelter place serving food and washing up, which was a nice change. Last day tomorrow before taking a break for a couple of weeks.

It's a good suggestion and I know people who have done something about it. I guess none of us really want to think about these things, though.
