Morning.
My youngest is still not feeling great, so that means working from home for me today so the eldest can go to school. Tomorrow is the school's Christmas Dinner so hopefully she feels better for that.
Evening pb and all ...
Hope your youngest is ok and that you're all going to be OK for Christmas. Funeral is tomorrow, so had my granddaughter today which was lovely :¬)
Also had a chap around to begin Probate ... I'll suggest that you all heed his advice and put things in place now, as this will alleviate potential problems in the future. Not something that you want to consider at the moment but well worth doing. I'll post suggestions soon ...

Need a set of white cabled Christmas tree lights too. Ours aren't working after finally getting the tree up.
Well there is now :¬)
Evening all ... funeral organising at the moment ... who's going in the cars and who's sitting in the 'family pews' ... this is so unreal!
It's maddening just how much companies will pester you when they want something for them, but when they are providing something for you they dither and shuffle their feet.
Should make this afternoon interesting...
When you're in the situation I'm in at the moment ... receiving post today at 3.50 pm, and guess what ... it's not Christmas Cards but correspondence that needs form filling or other response, which I could have done if I received it when we used to receive mail i.e. morning delivery ... I'm now pretty p****d off with our mail service at the moment TBH
Well, going to help dish up mulled wine and mince pies in a bit for our charity event at work.

Christmas here hasn't started yet and it probably won't.
Father-in-law in September and now my dad ... far too much to do without Christmas slipping in there! Shame really but any 'festive spirit' has completely evaporated at the moment with so much to do and too many barriers put in your way to conduct matters swiftly and conclusively!
Never mind, I'll wish you all a very happy and merry Christmas now and hope that the New Year brings you all success in what ever you choose to do :¬)
I can sympathise to some extent, my Father-in-law passed away last Christmas Day and it was difficult for us, too. My wife was in Spain and I had the children, which helped as I was just kept so busy that I didn't really have time to think too much and had to 'celebrate' for them, but it wasn't a great time.
I hope you can find some happiness this Christmas, even for a fleeting moment and hope the New Year brings you better times.
