but ... let it snow, let it snow ... nearly 3 inches now since 4.30pm. Just been out to save my bamboo, eucalyptus and photinia, all horizontal with the weight of the snow.
Heavy, sticky snow this one!
Snowfall and flake size have increased threefold since my first post ... !
Amber warning has now been issued
And an extra inch can now be added ;¬)
Glad you managed to have a good day, DL.
Been a fairly quiet day here, but kids enjoyed themselves.
Thought i would take a break from eating and drinking too much to pop in and say merry christmas.
DL, hope you have had some sort of christmas in amongst the chalkenging times.
Thanks Dave ... not been a bad day, infact a lovely day ... granddaughter (centre stage) and too many tasks to do to prepare the Christmas Dinner and then to clean it all away! Totally knackered, but ready for next year ... she'll be a year older :¬)
DL, hope you have had some sort of christmas in amongst the challenging times.
Sorry to hear about all the sad news, hopefully 2015 will be a lot better.
If I don't post again today have a Happy Christmas!
I've been so busy again today. Crafts with the kids this morning. Blue Peter would be proud. Dog walking, supermarket shuffling (far too busy in there to move very fast) among the tasks.
Yes I've just been catching up - I hope he recovers quickly and Christmas isn't too disrupted for you all.
Evening all ...
My son is 'hopefully' fine but a 6 week 'sick note' and then a review before physio, will give you some idea of the latest episode in our year. Factor in the major heart surgery for my other son and two 'father' deaths then ... Christmas has been disrupted big time for us all!
The last six months have been so intense and demanding that we're all totally drained of any notion of Christmas and all that it entails. It's a shame but it's reality ... but my granddaughter will be the one on Christmas Day to pull us all together ... before we start again.
So much pain and anguish in a single year is hard to forget until it is finally laid to rest! Hopefully within a couple of months we can all be free from 'form filling', demanding companies and etc etc.
