Evening.

Not long got back and got dinner sorted. Only problem was that while I was out my back decided to go on me, so I ended up looking like some old codger as I got out of the car until I could straighten up a bit. By the time I got home I was in agony whenever I leant forward or backwards. Currently sitting as still as possible.

You seem to be the same as me pb but I'm a few years older! I take panadol every morning for my arthitis in my left knee!

But for the last 40 years I've had a back problem, too much football and rugby in my youth apparently ... looking like an old codger getting out of a car!

Finally saw a consultant ... (he's brilliant) ... 'crushed lower vertebrae' and a lower slipped disc that was displaced but kept moving. He sorted it!

Now I'm still an old codger, but I don't crawl out of the car any more, as I did!

Evening all ...

Just trying to find the time to stop 'spending' money ;¬)

Had to ring the bank today to warn them of the transactions I had and have to make to clear the estate!

Hopefully it'll clear soon.

Morning all.

Trip to Buckfast Abbey to pick up my youngest this morning. Had to pump up my tyres yesterday in preparation but the wheel caps were so firmly stuck on (looked like salt from the roads had corroded them) so had to pop to Kwik Fit to get them off about 15 minutes before they closed. We have one of those rare Kwik fits where the staff are good and they don't try to fleece you for everything. They had to take one wheel off to get one of the caps off, that's how stuck it was. Got some new caps and no charge at all for the work.

Yey! Now to get that shiny new PC and put your feet up...

Haha ... new pc will be on its way soon!

As will a new (but used) car and new windows and a back door and donations to grandchildren and great grandchildren. One son has just had a 'skip' delivered from 'the other side' ... spooky that!

When they're all done pb ... then DL can relax and go away on r&r ;¬)

EDIT:

@pb, pete, dave, chas and altaranga ... Just want to say thanks to you all for your support during the last months ... if only I could send you a 'drinks voucher' as a thank you, then I would :¬)

Thanks pb. It's been a bit tense this morning, but I've just been informed that we are now completed! Oh the joy :¬D

Morning.

Wet and windy out there today. Not great weather to do the school run in.

Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
