My youngest is going on a school trip today so it meant leaving early. Cue a small meltdown about what she had in her lunch box (she normally has school dinners), but we still just about managed to get my eldest to school on time and then the youngest to her class.
Eldest had to have a proper cast, lightweight fibreglass one, yesterday in the end. It's actually better for her than the splint thing which didn't seem to hold the wrist tightly enough. She could even choose the colour of this one and went for purple.
If I could send you a cake over the internet I would...
Many thanks pb ... I'd enjoy that :¬)

Hope Mrs DL enjoyed her birthday and you have a good one tomorrow. I would imagine that not asking you to do too much of anything for the day would be about right! Any chance of that happening?!
Thanks pb :¬) ... that's about right but ...
Nope ... Mrs DL will be out at 9am for 'birthday breakfast' with a friend, so me and granddaughter will do some gardening, weather permitting, before I take her to nursery.
Mrs DL has a 'surprise birthday' this Saturday which I've had organised for the last few months and it's getting too close to 'slip up' ;¬)
My birthday is not relevant any more ... I'm older than Mrs DL and ... well that's just it :¬)

Afternoon.
I'm sure I wrote something this morning but it seems to have disappeared. Currently waiting in the fracture clinic to check my daughter's arm.
Evening pb ...
I wrote a reply to your post yesterday and I got a Freeola Sorry Page!
Hope all is well now after the fracture clinic ... fractures are not clever. Mrs DL got one in her foot in Boston, Mass ... 4 yrs ago and it's still causing problems.
Big day tmoz though ... my birthday ;¬)

Been quite a miserable day so far weather-wise, especially as it's Mrs DL's 60th. We went to a local garden centre, which has now got more shops than you'd find on the High Street! The price of plants is quite staggering as well ... but for £88, she got what she wanted :¬)
Rainy Monday and my daughter had to work out how to put a raincoat on with one arm in a sling. Not easy, that's for sure.
Cold is still here but much better than the other day. Not much else to report, my laptop keeps freezing so I'm trying to get to the bottom of that.
