The hallowed halls of Freeola sound extremely empty recently ...
Mrs DL has possibly what you have pb! Her sneezes would shatter a door, if I hadn't reinforced her isolation room! Mrs DL has her 60th birthday tomorrow, let's just hope that she's acceptable!
Her 'special surprise birthday' isn't until the 10th ;¬)
Still can't shake my illness. Just keep losing my voice and coughing, plus generally feeling pretty bad. Probably just a bad cold, but it's not great.
Well, eldest went off to school today, only 1 full day after her incident. Had to drive her, of course, as her leg is still bad too and I'm not sure what she will be able to achieve with her writing hand out of action, but they have an author visit today so she didn't want to miss it.
Oh dear pb, hope she recovers soon. Fractures tend to be worse than breaks :¬(

Oh no pb! What's the problem ... hope it's not too serious.[/i]
Ran to the house after gymnastics around 7.30pm and fell over, in to our local A&E around 8pm to have her checked over then sent to the city A&E half an hour away for an X-ray. 2 hours later we finally get the x-Ray done and find she has a fracture. Back home at 11pm to eat dinner and now I have pretty bad heart burn and she has a sling.
And ending the day in A&E with my daughter. It's exciting, at least.
Oh no pb! What's the problem ... hope it's not too serious.
Still feeling a bit flu-like.
Congrats on the anniversary. i guess when Steve Davis appeared you knew it was your cue. No honeymoon potting jokes on a family forum....
Haha thanks pb :¬D ...
don't think there was a family forum way back then
31 years ago today ... we became Mr and Mrs DL :¬)
It was a very cold Thursday in Sheffield at 11.40 am way back then and I had actually met Steve Davis in the hotel lift the evening before! Memories ....
Congrats on the anniversary. i guess when Steve Davis appeared you knew it was your cue. No honeymoon potting jokes on a family forum....
