Needless to say, I had to help out with that, on top of our usual work breakfast. I'm going to regret it later, I'm sure.

Passport received so I call that a success. The 4 hour walk down memory lane has taken its toll on my legs; the most exercise I've done in years and I must have covered quite a distance.

Only been to Glasgow once, was a pleasant if fleeting experience. Was a pretty long time ago, mind you, back in the 90s.
Hope you had a successful Glasgow visit dav?

Hope it goes well, DL.
I've been trying to work out whether I really enjoy Rainbow Six Siege or not. It feels pretty short on content but the maps that are in the game are fairly fun as long as you get a good group of people on your team.
Well, what a day!!!
Had a boiler replacement booked for today and I also had to undergo an HGV Class 1 Shunters licence ... stress levels were pretty high ;¬)
Safe to say now ... new boiler is in place and working like a dream, only have wi-fi NEST to work out now! But most importantly, Mrs DL has constant hot, and I mean hot, water :¬) My bank balance has taken a £3000 battering but what's that compared to a happy bunny ;¬)
Me ... HGV ... sorted and tomorrow I'm in a Volvo Globetrotter ... such bliss ... a long but happy day :¬)
wandering around glasgow as I wait for my passport. 2 hours done, 2 hours to go.
I see Microsoft are going ahead with putting their servers underwater after the trials went successfully.
Another Monday. I really could do with some coffee at the moment. Don't feel like I slept at all last night.
Good lord and another one ... R.I.P Terry Wogan ... you'll be sadly missed, a great man.
Indeed. Used to love his chat show, among other things, was one of the best.
