Well it's a bit quiet today.

Last night ended up eating almost half a 4 person lasagne as both my daughters decided they didn't like it. Still feeling bloated!

The storm sounds like it was being generous to us all, then!

Was rather wet and windy here yesterday but nice and peaceful today. The sun has even popped out to say hello which makes a nice change from the constant rain.

Wasn't quite as bad as I expected, but it sure was a blustery night and morning. All seems to have calmed a little now, though.

Storm's a-comin'

Looks like the wind will get up to 70-89mph in an hour or so. I warned the wife but she doesn't seem bothered that tomorrow someone else might own our underwear currently hanging on the line under the veranda!

Morning.

Glad you enjoyed your trucking DL.

Looks like this weekend is going to be a wet one. Maybe give me time to tidy the study again and get rid of a lot of stuff I don't need.

Volvo Globetrotting was a treat, but then you have to add in all the other varieties of HGV aswell, all of which were mainly 'sheds' ... well used isn't the word!

Only been to Glasgow once, was a pleasant if fleeting experience. Was a pretty long time ago, mind you, back in the 90s.

Between studying, working and socialising, I spent a lot of time in Glasgow. I've barely been back since I moved to Perth so it was nice to explore and see just how much has changed. Interestingly, the vast majority of the 'trendy' pubs I went to have all changed but the 'old man' style traditional pubs are all the same.

My university has also certainly expanded a great deal. It turned to a uni in the 2nd year of my degree so I was there right at the start... and then I remember how long ago that was and move swiftly on.
