Well, I've finally done it; taken a snow day! I was originally going to risk it, but the local radio has now claimed the roads into all major towns are "no-go areas". Great! I actually hate cancelling work, being self employed it's not something I try to do very often. But thankfully the customer understood.

Morning.

Snow last night. A fair bit on the ground, should make driving in to Exeter interesting.

Still can't believe just how many games were released on the App Store this week. Biggest week ever.

No sign of more snow yet. Ground is all mushy from melting snow now, still some on the grass and trees but not enough to make a snowman.

If it snows again later then the kids might be lucky, but nothing this year so far.

Doesn't sound all that compulsory Chris ?

It's compulsory, I just walked out of college this morning though. If I'd been seen, they would've dragged me back in probably. Although they'd have a job doing that, half the sixth form didn't come in this morning.

Morning.

No sign of snow as I left Exmouth. 10 minutes up the road towards Exeter and we hit a huge snowfall. Snowing now in Exeter and just hope the buses are still running when I need to get home.

Same here with the weather. Started with rain then suddenly turned into heavy snow. Last day of University tomorrow, though I still have essays due in until next week. Just finished one today so going to treat myself to something sugary!

Evening to one and all...

Rain for most of the day, then heavy snowfall...'dinner plate' sized flakes (not good)...good covering but the ground was so wet most has melted but more promised and -4 tonight :¬( The forecast gives snow now until Christmas Eve.

On the 'redundancy' side...we have all felt today that 'work' just seems to have become a meaningless task....which is probably true of any work under normal circumstances any way..except for the guaranteed 'financial' benefits ha ha :¬D
