Feeling guilty because we still have no snow (yet), but there's still plenty of ice around! Oh and pot-holes...Mostly ones still from last year though. The pipes have frozen where I work, so no water there, but having no water at home sounds horrible. Hope it gets sorted soon Tez!

Last week we used video/sound/chat conferencing that was linked to the Univesity so we could communicate with lecturers and so on. The time delay was massive, but it helped if you urgently needed to talk to someone. Supposed to be travelling to my Dad's on Boxing Day, but will have to keep an eye on things!

The snow in the Midlands is terrible at the moment. I decided to go to work this morning, and all was fine. However, the second It's time to come home, I'm hit by a blizzard. Then, to top it off, I come home and find there's no running water. Wonderful.

I've already decided to cancel work for tommorow. it feels bad to lose so much work, but what can one do?

Wow you`re a cool brother McLong. I was just going to give my brothers a card :S

Several inchs of snow in Exmouth? Damn that is rare. So has all the excitement gone and you all wish the snow would disappear? I hope it doesn`t last into the new year. I`m coming back in a few weeks and I don`t fancy sleeping rough in Heathrow airport.

Not had a great amount of luck with Xmas presents myself either.

My sister wanted Wii Party (with Wii Remote version) which are seemingly Nintendo's version of golddust to get at the usual price of £35. The only places they are consistently in stock (Play, Amazon etc) have them priced at £65-70.

By chance, I had a quick look at the usual game websites the other day and they all suddenly had stock of the £35 priced version, so I bought one on GAME.co.uk, only to receive an e-mail the next day saying that they were already out of stock and couldn't fulfil my order... of course all the other websites were out of stock again by this stage.

Edit: so I have no present for my sis and no website can deliver before xmas now. I also got all other presents delivered to my rents' house where I'll be spending Xmas and have no idea of what's turned up and what hasn't.

I also have to travel to Wales on Thursday by train, which I imagine won't go quite as smoothly as I hope. I'm also feeling remarkably ill at the moment with some kind of cold/flu thing, so hopefully that's gone by Thurs.

Oh, and apparently we're due even more snow tomorrow here in Essex.

Working from home again due to the weather. My wife is rather worried we aren't going to make it to Devon for christmas.

Still waiting on a few of mine still also. Still lots of snow lying around here today, luckily no more has fallen since Saturday. Speaking of which, took me 3 hours+ to do the 7 miles home after work on that day, ended up ditching it and walking...

Hopefully it perks up a bit over the next couple of days as I really don't fancy driving about on Christmas Day (along with playing football and drinking the day before) if it's still like this!

No one else around today?

This was my garden this morning.

Keeps wanting to snow again, the sky has gone from bright blue to completely white a few times now. Despite being on the coast we managed to get a fairly deep snow fall.

Kids are happy, I'm just worried about the presents I've ordered not coming, but then if it stays like this I won't be able to go to my parents after Christmas.

If I don't shave for 3 days I have a full beard.

Anyway. Morning everyone.

The view outside my window is white with more white coming down. According to the radio there are no buses working on my route, so I'm at home.

I suspect the reason my grandad or dad have never had beards is because they can't grow them properly. I seem to be similarly inflicted but I'm rebelling against genetics

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Many thanks!!
Registered my website with Freeola Sites on Tuesday. Now have full and comprehensive Google coverage for my site. Great stuff!!
