I have something to say to all you non-God types..

1. God does exsist, He created you, He can destroy you

2. Ya know the 'Big Bang' theory? Me and my mom belive it, So? What if God made noise while he created Earth, no one is silent

3. Why are you even bringing this subject up? It's pointless and you'll never win...

-God Bless, I'm prayin' for ya!

PS:God exists, you know it! Don't deny it! He has done something for you in the past so be thankfull there is a God

Without starting this all over again, I just want to point out that I am fine with the idea of natural selection - some species do survive better than others simply due to circumstances etc.

Its the whole mutating/evolving of one species into another I am dubious of, let alone on such a grand scale.

That isn't Natural selection. Natural selection is not the survial of one species over another, rather it is the survial of an adventagous phenotype of one member of a species over another member of the same species.

This is closer to Natural Selection. There is proof that a member of a species containing an adventagous gene may have a better chance of survial and therefore a higher chance of passing on its genes. If you think about it Logic dictates that this is very likely to happen. Natural Selection is not a theory. It definitly happens, and cases have been observed (Classic is Peppered moth study).

As I have saidThe only question is does Natural selection have enough effect to account for the Theory of Evolution.

I like the Theory of Evolution because it is so neat and logical. But I keep and open mind and remember that it is still only a Theory.

Sorry, my wording and use of the word 'species' was wrong.
I knew what you meant.

All this debate about an invisible being who *probably* doesn't exist....

I would say that 'God *IS* real', simply because He/It affects and influences millions of people's thoughts and lives across the world.
So God IS real, but whether God actually exists - that's a different question.

There is plenty of proof that he exists - It's just that most people don't want to see it !

I didn't want to - until he came and spoke to me one night.

That's what happens.

Either God exists because he spoke to me then and has done on numerous occasions since - or I am clinically insane.

I believe the former to be true.

Trouble is I cannot prove it scientifically to you so you don't belive me.

Which is very strange considering that 3000 + years ago Isiah actually wrote that the earth was a sphere. The ancient Greeks said that the earth was a sphere - sitting on Apollo's (I think) shoulders.

Then we decided to change our views. Damn stupid middle age times living peasents.

.....and around 600 BCE, Daniel (the prophet) wrote that the earth was not flat but a sphere.....

I'm not ready to write out my full testimony here at the mo - I still find it difficult to say it to people at church.

But - needless to say - I was in a pretty s****y situation at the time and I was given answers to questions that I had not even been asking at the time.

Life is now damn good - apart from bloody car crash on Sunday night.

(Head on crash - we were doing 50 - he was doing 60 - He somersaulted down the road for 150 yds and finished on roof - both cars are right offs. All three of us in the cars walked away without so much as a scratch)

No worries. I suspect that such life-changing moments are difficult to put into words anyway.

Ouch. That's sounds nasty. I'm glad all concerned got away unscathed.
