Nicely put. Better than I put it, and I wholly agree.
(this is fun!)

Yes, but once again someone is taking their belief and actually applying it to real world situations.
Always a problem.
I would believe in evolution if there were proof.
Dinasaurs.

I thought that God portrayed himself as the only God, which would mean that anyone believing in him would have to call the rest liars by default?
> I refuse to believe that life, the universe etc came about by chance
So, you're using the classic (and dumb) argument that we are too complex to have evolved naturally. Yet some far more complex and capable creature, that can shape stars and worlds from nothing, and create life and shape it on a whim, is omnipotent, omnipresent and immortal could have just appeared out of the blue, to shape a semi-intelligent race of bipedal mammals intent on blowing each other up with increasingly inventive and inhumane forms of destruction?
I hope against hope that you see where that argument is flawed.

Which ones? C'mon, show me the monkey.

I would believe in evolution if there were proof. And there is not.
They constantly talk about 'the missing link' etc and claim to have found different proof. I have read reports and books by the most well recognised scientists and the world and all admit there is no proof for evolution.

But you said I was....
*sulks off towards the door*
I had a compound and everything.
That's what I'm saying.
"In my opinion" doesn't make it so.
You dont know if God exists, I dont know that God doesn't
Wars are fought, books are burned, religious people are persecuted for that very reason.
All it is? Opinions. Until either God comes down and reveals himself, or science proves beyond all measure that religion is ancient superstition?
You dont know. I dont know. Nobody knows. Which is where faith comes in. But faith is still an opinion, nothing more.
I'm not dismissing anyone for religious beliefs, but you simply cannot proclaim your opinion to be the one true version.
What about Buddhists? Jehova Witnesses? Hindus? Etc etc? There sure are a lot of Gods, and if you believe he exists, then you have to accept the notion that he exists for the other denominations.
This is a silly argument, but amusing.
Just dont confuse opinion with fact
