Personally, if Rare announced today that all their future titles will be on X-Box, I wouldn't rush out and buy one tomorrow. For me, the X-Box really is very unappealing. I used to want Halo, but seeing as it's now coming out on PC, I'm not bothered about that. There are no games I want, I curse that 'controller' and it's just so damn ugly! (Those are all my own opinions, so no X-Box fanboys please).
I tells ya, Rare's games would have to be REALLY special for me to buy an X-Box, and even then, I'd wait till it's reduced to about £100.

Everyone is talking on the grounds of games before them, yeah sure if they were multi format company and showed they can make brilliant games on every console then yeah it would be ok.
But they havent developed on their own on the GC, let alone the XBox.
Even if they were making games on the xbox now and they were all brilliant whos to say a sequal of a game on there already is going to be that good?
Im not saying that you shouldnt look foward to games, but only when its been released in japan or USA and then it has people WHO HAVE PLAYED ON IT, saying its good.

No way will I get an X-Box just because of Rare. At £160.00 it's still shockingly expensive and does not appeal to me in the slightest. Rare games may improve my opinion, but Microsoft are going to have to do better than that to make me buy one.

well i have a PS@ and soon a Gamecube so there is no room for a giant Xbox on my desk :P. Besides two consoles is enought for me.

160 is a VERY good price to get a console at.

If it goes down to under £50 then i'll have one for Jet Set Radio but there's no point in spending over that on one. I'm quite happy with my Cube, the release list is packed so I wont have the cash or the time to spend on an Xbox.

would you really. i dont like x box but if i was given one i would keep it as an emergancy raft incase of a flood.
