Just a short post from each who wish to air their views on Nintendo. Why are you such a fan? What is your favourite game and why? How did you become a Ninty fan? What is it that keeps you a loyal supporter? How do you feel about the direction Nintendo have been taking or are taking in the future?

Its just a bit of fun for those Ninty fans out there!

Yeh OK - I agree - But I meant N64 golden era days. Mickeys Speedway and all those since have all been 'average' (by rare standards anyway).

It's Mr Pants!/Grabbed By The Gholies/Banjo Pilot = awful

And DK64 drove me mad because of the constant addition of new moves. I couldn't deal with it. Shigeru Miyamoto when he made Mario 64, made a game that feature thousands of puzzles and missions that you could perform using a handful of Mario moves. As the game progressed he added 3 different caps in order to add a bit of spice to later proceedings.

With RARE they create a move and then a puzzle then a new move then a new puzzle. BK got away with it as, although there were plenty of moves, it didn't overload you too much.

DK64 had 5 characters, each with their own special moves, special guns and additional moves. They all got extra moves as the game progressed and you were overloaded.

BT did the same. Banjo. Kazooie. Banjo and Kazooie. Mumbo Jumbo.

Argh. Over the top.

Then get back to it, discover it's true brilliance and try (if you can stomach the annoying noises and voices) to get to the end.

It is such a great game.

Of course it is. I just didn't like it. Dunno. I think it just seemed childish. Also, the sounds were very irritating and I got bored of it too quick to actually finish it.

You can't say any game from RARE is terrible (sorry - Mickeys Speedway USA aside)!

I thought the DK rap was good to start with, but I got bad very very quickly.

Also, despite it's similarities, I hated BK, but loved DK!
