"The results of the largest survey of gamers this year has revealed that Xbox is the top console of choice this Christmas.
Over 12,000 US gamers were asked, "What console do you plan to buy in the coming year?" and 39 percent answered Xbox! 27 percent answered PlayStation 2, and 17 percent plan to pick up a GameCube.
The study also showed that game demos are the most influence over game purchase decisions. When asked "Which of these items highly influence your game purchase decisions?" nearly 8 out of 10 respondents (78%) ranked game demos the number 1 factor, far ahead of the number 2 response: game reviews (47%). Both television commercials (35%) and magazine ads (31%) trailed furthest behind as drivers."
Not bad eh?
I have also checked out a copularity contest and the results show that I am:

Weird
Poor Poster

Those were the comments against my name and I beginning to wonder if it is worth posting anymore as I a very **** off! Evren the Xbox forum where I enjoy posting is becoming over ran by Xbox is rubbish posts and I am really sick of it!!!

Well, I'm sorry, but I don't believe there is a good reason for it. It's totally inexcusable, in my opinion.

I think you'll find that savatt and I have offered good and obvious reasons why this is the case.
About 30 for the story mode.
About 30 hours for the street challenges.
About 10 hours for the test runs.
That's a big game by today's standards.
Anyway, the magazines were saying that JSRF was short lived.
Naturally it'll be replayable - like both Pikmin and Luigi's Mansion are.
I know what you meant about Rogue Leader, I was just again pointing out - that's how I am with Halo - the only game I want from the Xbox for the moment! :-)
Rouge Leader isn't the only good game in the Cube there are quite a few good games, but it is the only game I would get for it.
Once last thing, I have clocked over 80 hours playing Halo and I still want to do it on Legendary! One mission alone on Legendary took me 4 hours due to the requirement of tactics and stealth.
The Xbox has been hailed to have the bets launch titles in the history of gaming and I think that the summer break is all part of Microsoft's christmas Xbox plan. I will be getting a Cube when a few more very good games become avaiable and of course to play the new Resident Evil :) I just can't wait for my 5.1 system now ;)
Clearly not on his first go!
The game lasts atleast 10 hours the first time round (if you're VERY good AND using a walkthrough!), and even then, I came back atleast 4 times to try and get a high score.
Besides, Jet Set Radio isn't exactly the largest game around.
You saying Rogue Leader was the only launch game to get is like me saying that Halo is the only Xbox game to get.
You know how our opinions differ there.
Smash Brothers, Monkey Ball and Pikmin have all been VERY good.
Smash Brothers has lasted me over 125 hours so far, and I'll be coming back to it's multiplayer for years to come.
Still, as good as they are, especially with Pikmin and Luigi being so short, they only lasted me about two months before I started to tire.
There were other good games around, but no more major releases until September.
I think the situation was similar with the Xbox, only the Xbox has been waiting 3 months longer (because it was released earlier).
Still, all console owners will be happy come next Saturday when Turok rolls into town...

Yep. One slight difference though.
The Gamecube's last good game was Pikmin back in June.
Because that was the last really good game until the forthcoming Resident Evil and Turok Evolution, it's given us a 3 month gap.
My 5 launch games had lost a lot of their appeal after 2 of these months.
The Xbox, however gave it's last greats back in March.
That leaves a whole 6 months of waiting...
That's the reason why people are moaning about the Xbox's lack of releases rather than the Gamecubes.

yes i agree...i haven't found a single game that is great so far since launch....merely mediocre ones like gun valkyrie and enclave and hunter (these 3 were GREAT disappointments)...roll on the good games!
