"To Buy or Not To Buy?"

Me I am a PS2 owner, and for Christmas or earlier i would like to get a new console, either the xbox or the GCN.

Ive done research on the Xbox, it sounds good, but can you GCN fans persuade me into getting a Nitendo Gamecube? What has it got that is better than the Xbox? Why is it worth getting? Will my gaming needs be satisifed with this console?

One thing I like about this is that Freeloader allows you to play games without chiiping the console, which is good for cheap imports.

Please Help!!

Yeah what mag is that, Ive seen the one in the official nitendo magazine is that the one.

Yeah there was a mag with it, with 4 faces and more to come.

Not sure about buying them but it would be good if every game has one in its box then you can choose which one you would like, also it wouldnt cost a lot.

Stupid extras like that sell.

And i love it too i have luigis mansion on at the mo.

I've had my GC for 2 months now from yesterday and alreaady I've got 6 games for it, but now i've got a tedious wait til next next for the rest of my fav games, including Starfox Adventures, Zelda GC, Kameo: EoP and some on the GBA like Golden Sun 2: The lost Age, Pokemon Ruby + Saphire, and A Link To The Past.

The perfect combo would be all 3 as all 3 have there own class games. Like Xbox has Halo, Gamecube has the Mario, Zelda etc, the PS2 has GTA3. Gran Turismo,etc, Although most games are available on the PC. But most games will soon come out on all 3 consoles.

Finally I got to play the Cube for the first time. It was a bit confusing as i was not use to the controls, the controller felt wicked, fits into my hand and was comfortable. The Wave Racing game was good. Graphics were cool and so was the sound.

Actually I don't agree, if you own an X-box and a Gamecube there are very few games that won't be released on one of those formats. PS2 is seriously lacking in exlusives at the moment, and few of them are any good.

(Of course if you want absolutely perfect then yes its true, but unless your a super rich person its just a waste of money)

You can rest assured that the PS3 won't be with us for about another five years, if Sony decide to work carefully on it this time. Nintendo and Rare are keeping tight lipped about 2003 onwards, but you can bet it's well planned for. Exclusive (no multi-format) games confirmed for 2003 are:

Final Fantasy [All PS2 versions and a GC exclusive, plus link up with GBA]
Perfect Dark Zero
The Legend Of Zelda GC
Mario Golf GC
Mario Tennis GC
Mario Kart GC
F-Zero GC
1080: White Storm
Resident Evil

The Matrix
StarFox [New NAMCO version]

You can bet there'll be more titles than that, as Nintendo are usually quite secretive about forthcoming titles untill about 6 months in advance.

That is a huge list of class games. now you can not claim that Ninty Cube is a kiddies console.

but will it last in the years 2003/04 leading to future consoles such as PS3, etc
