Me I am a PS2 owner, and for Christmas or earlier i would like to get a new console, either the xbox or the GCN.

Ive done research on the Xbox, it sounds good, but can you GCN fans persuade me into getting a Nitendo Gamecube? What has it got that is better than the Xbox? Why is it worth getting? Will my gaming needs be satisifed with this console?

One thing I like about this is that Freeloader allows you to play games without chiiping the console, which is good for cheap imports.

Please Help!!

That was basically the X-Box forum's flowery response, when really they mean 'Nothing's confirmed, but it's likely'. And that's basically all we can say aswell. There's only a few games that use light guns on the PS2, so don't expect that much from X-Box or GC.

It's likely there'll be at least one though (and you can bet Nintendo'll make a superb light gun, like their controller).

Yeah, it's sort of moulded to the shape of your hand, isn't it? I was blown away when I first used it. :D.

Well, it's just as fun, and just as good for multiplayer. It really is great, it's more of a beat 'em up but with a huge array of power ups. Then there's the brilliant one player mode...

No it's nothing like that, this game is battles between you and 1-3 other people, you have to fight using special moves assigned to your character using the A, B, X, Y, and Z buttons.

Crash Bash I think its like Smash Bros, you have characters like Crash and his other enemies etc, they all have races, battles, to win. You dont actually fight each other but you do challenges. Its a Playstation game.

I don't know what Crash bash is like? Super samsh bros. melee is very addictive and funny to play, so you'll be glued to your TV screen for long periods of time.
