Ive done research on the Xbox, it sounds good, but can you GCN fans persuade me into getting a Nitendo Gamecube? What has it got that is better than the Xbox? Why is it worth getting? Will my gaming needs be satisifed with this console?
One thing I like about this is that Freeloader allows you to play games without chiiping the console, which is good for cheap imports.
Please Help!!

Well I think that the Gamecube is the console for you! You'll get all the great new versions of Nintendo classics and many brand bew games (such as Pikmin!)!
Make the right choice, choose the Gamecube!

Ive got a Gameboy Pocket, Played the GBA many times, I use to play the SNES at my cousins house most the times, than I got the Sega Master System, had that for a few years, got the PSX, now I've got a PS2. Im going to sell me PS2, and with the money I'll buy either an Xbox or Gamecube.

I think broadband may get cheaper when online gaming does start. Whenever it starts.
Nintendo want to concentrate really on producing games all people can enjoy, such as Mario Sunshine and StarFox Adventures. Though both don't have online functions, they're easily contenders for Game Of The Year. You can expect to be set back about £100 a year for X-Box Live, and the GameCube is rumoured to be about £6.00 a month, coming to an estimated total of £72.00 a year.
Really, this is all quite pricey, and that's why Nintendo are putting about 75% of their games development into offline play. I'm assuming that games they make that DO go online will have excellent gameplay even when you're not hooked up or connected, with online play being purely optional.
I think I'll get me console in October, or during christmas. Which ever one I dont mind, I'll have to save up first for another console. After I buy the one I want.
The X-Box is a possible minefield for second party developers wanting to make exclusives, and you'd only be buying it for a few games that aren't on the PS2 or 'Cube. I'm soon going to have all three, but if you can only afford two, I strongly suggest the PS2 (which you already have) and the GameCube (for the many innovative and original titles from Nintendo and Rare, only for GC).
