I'm going to have lots of money soon and because my PC sucks I think I'll buy my first console... hurrah.

Not a Gamecube because I don't want to play crap like Pikmin and Lugi's Mansion.

So Playstation 2 is cheaper than X-Box but not as good and has pretty good games.

X-Box is one big beast but Microsoft made my PC crap and it costs a lot.

So what should I get... give me good reasons and prices and stuff please?

I was just chatting to my cousin on MSN about the X-box.
It all depends on your personal opinions.
I prefer ps2 because it's cheap and has a lot of choice.
He prefers X-box because it has much better power and great games.

Omfg. Sigh do i have to do an über long list to get it into your head theres loads of excellent games coming to xbox's way or will you find it out yourself?

PS2 has more than 3 good games coming out, Gamezfreak :-)

I say get an xbox, Great Graphics, Great Games, Great Console. Get a few mags and research on the game line-up for either console.

Quite a few origanal titles coming for the xbox aswell as Jet Set Radio Future, Halo, Oddworld Munches Oddysee with games coming soon such as Blinx Time Sweeper and Splinter Cell. With the prospect of xbox LIVE (online service coming soon) all built into the console the xbox will turn out cheapest when sony release their attempt at online gaming.

PS2 is leading in my mind

Can get deal with SR for £200, get loads of stuff thrown in.

Although I might be scrooge and keep money but I'm excited about actually having a console

PS2: Some class coming out soon, including a Celebrity Death,match game.

There are an awful lot of surefire hits coming out though, so get a PS2.

errrrrmm....okay. I have a PS2, not any other console. So probably, its a tough decision. The PS2 has got good games, the X-Box has great graphics and the Gamecube, well, cheap.

I can't tell you what to choose cos' I ain't good deciding stuff, so listen to other folks and see what they say.
