"PS2 or X-Box"

I'm going to have lots of money soon and because my PC sucks I think I'll buy my first console... hurrah.

Not a Gamecube because I don't want to play crap like Pikmin and Lugi's Mansion.

So Playstation 2 is cheaper than X-Box but not as good and has pretty good games.

X-Box is one big beast but Microsoft made my PC crap and it costs a lot.

So what should I get... give me good reasons and prices and stuff please?

I was going to save up for Les Paul or SG but I'm too crap to play such a lovely guitar so go now.

Buying a GameCube doesn't mean you're forced to play Luigi's Mansion and Pikmin.

Dunno what the fook that is though.

If you have no consoles then the PS2 is your best bet purely for the choice and the price of the games available.
