Anyway, I'll start us off. I can't get further than 215 meters in the home run contest. I've been using Ganondorf. Anyone got any tips or strategies? Who's the best character to use?

I've got a couple of reviews I orginally wrote for SR, as GAD attempts that are just lying around if you're looking for stuff like that.

All in a days work :).

Well, if I pull my finger out, I could get SOMETHING up for next Friday.

You can contribute as much as you like to the website! The way I see it, the more content there is, the longer and more often people will visit the site! Ofcourse, it'll have to go through the UA quality control before being published, but that shouldn't be a problem for a former News Edytor. ;)
By the way, thanks for the tip SS. And good work with the compo, I fully appreciate the effort you're putting into it.

I can't better you in the Home Run Contest yet (I'm still struggling to get over 290) but I can help you out with this.
Use either Link or Young Link (Young Link works best, but Link'll do if you don't have him). Position yourself in centre stage and press UP + B for his sword spin attack (making sure you don't jump in the process). Keep your finger on UP and keep tapping B for repeated sword spins. Around the 50 mark, things start hotting up, so be ready to change your position sharpish and repeat the process.]
That's how I did it and I did it about third time.
