"Concerning ALL users of the X-box forum."

I don't think I've seen anyone call the X-box rubbish because of it's size. If people have, then they deserve a kick up the backside. Is a Jumbo Jet rubbish because of it's size? If it was smaller it wouldn't be a Jumbo Jet. The only reference to the console's size I've seen is either from X-box fans accusing 'Ninties' of moaning about it, or from Dark Mark and his very humourous comments about needing a team of architects to design it.

I have, on many occasions, seen people criticise the GameCube because of cosmetic reasons though. Colour, size and even the fact it has a handle! So bloody what? The console is only the shell for the hardware!

Comments about the controllers. I find the X-box controller really uncomfortable. I've got large hands so that can't be the reason for my discomfort. Whatever the reason is, I still find it uncomfortable. That doesn't mean everyone else finds it comfortable, just the same as if you find it comfortable, it doesn't mean everyone else does.

To me, the GameCube controller is the most comfortable controller I've ever used. I used to think that of the Dreamcast's controller before the GameCube, so no one give me that "Ninty" crap. Not everyone has the same opinions and we all have the right to express them.

Daveus for some reason believes that we, who don't necessarily enjoy the X-box as much as other consoles we've played, have no right to our opinions. Infact, as you may be aware, he told me...sorry, ORDERED me to get out of the X-box forum because of my opinions! Why he thought he had the authority to do so I do not know and I will take this up with the staff if I have to. If everyone who likes or has liked previous consoles in the past wasn't allowed to post in here, the X-box forum would be empty!

Debation (even in mass quantities :D) is what the forums are about. Some people will like one console, others will like another, and some will like every one of them. That's what these forums are about! The X-box forum isn't designated for X-box fans, just X-box topics. Anyone can post their opinions. Otherwise, what are you doing here other than to see other's opinions? Oh, I forgot, you're writing long and meaningless topics to try and win the X-box game of your choice. Those of you who do only come here for the competition, get out more! If you come here for the community, for entertainment value, for opinions and discussions on gaming matters - AS WELL as to hopefully win a game of your choice, then good for you.

Now this goes for everyone who reads it, no matter which forum they are in, atleast take note that other's have opinions too. There's no point in being selfish, no point in getting yourselves worked up, and in Daveus' case, there's no point in making a right fool out of yourself by trying to play Hitler! Have fun, keep the peace and just enjoy yourselves a little. I personally don't come online to see bullying, name calling, exclusion and pettiness. If I wanted that, I'd go back to school! I'm sure you don't come on here for those reasons either.

The only person I have turned on intentially is Daveus after he told me to 'get out' of this forum as I have a GameCube.

I will argue against anything that is made out to be fact, when I know for a fact it's more fiction, and will voive my opinions, but I don't usually mean anything against the person themselves.

2 nights a go I did a post in the Dreamcast forum entitled 'Dramatic Irony' and that explains the situation I am in now! LOL, can get rather complicated at times but it explains why I chose what I did, I'll post it in this forum and then people can see! Anyway, I was suprised when you turned on me becuase them other Ninties weren't telling the truth they just wanted trouble! This made me very angry and this is why I turned.

I don't judge games before I've played them though, and I can only play on the games for consoles I haven't got (such as the X-box) when available. Sure, my loyalties lie in Nintendo and I am more likely to buy a GameCube or Game Boy Advance game than a game for another system, but I, unlike many other (but not all) Nintendo fans, like to keep an open mind.

I enjoy playing games a lot and I think that you have mis-interpreted my intentions. I just like to chat about games and discuss things with different people from my ordinary everyday lives, but every once in a while I get sick of people like that Micro fool and I was suprised that you tuned on me becuase so far I have discussed the games from the GameCube that I would *LOVE* to see appear on the Xbox. I haven't once put the GameCube *DOWN*! I have only discussed, calling me a Fanboy was very stupid as it is clear that I have a broad mind about gaming! If a game is good why deny it the credit it deserves, but when a game is bad I will be the first one to stand up and admit the faults and what can be improved. Last week I bought a Dreamcast to play some SEGA classics (Shenmue 1+2, Virtua Tennis 1+2, Skies of Arcadia e.t.c) and so far I am very impressed. I wanted to mention that so people do not think I am one console minded. I sold my PS2 to get an Xbox, I still have a PSONE, I have recently sold my N64, I have just purchased a Dreamcast and I am thinking about getting a GameCube! The *LAST* thing I am is a one console FANBOY! Where did he get that from?

If I have read or misinterpreted anything you have said then I'm sorry, but I have not told anyone (apart from in retaliation) to go away.

I will not be going myself and will continue to post my opinions the way I do.

Daveus IS a fanboy, no mistake about that, but, despite your opinions seeming a little biased, you have more sense than a fanboy, I know that for certain.

It wasn't you who he called a Fanboy, it was me! I am a fanboy becuase I *DIDN'T* put the GameCube down in anyway, discussed some *XBOX* games and gave my opinion. What are you talking about.

I think it's fair that all consoles are always put down - providing there is evidence to back up the opinions. I don't think it's fair that you are suggesting I am NOT a decent GameCube owner because I have some opinions against yours.

I am not a fanboy. I used to be, but I'm not now. I also know that others have opinions too and I respect that.

I don't respect the fact that you are telling people to clear off! Surely insulting the Nintendo fans is just as bad as the fans themselves insulting (if it's possible to insult and object with no feelings) the X-box!

If anyone should clear off, it should be you. This is a free board for everyone to post their opinions, but there are one or two who think they're better than everyone else and think those who don't meet 'their' standards should clear off. If anyone should decide it's the Special Reserve staff.

If you disagree with any of my opinions, then sure, say which and why, don't tell me or anyone else to 'clear off' though! As I've said, if I wanted to go somewhere full of exclusion and idiocities like some I have encountered on the Special Reserve forums from a select few, I would go back to school.

I'm not here to argue about my right to post here. And YES I AM a decent GameCube owner. I treat my GameCube well, don't balance it on any edges, don't put it near any heat sources, etcetera. I know that's not what you meant, but I also know you are suggesting, by deleting my name and replacing it with Tiltawhirl, that you believe my opinions count for nowt and that I am here to cause trouble.

I am not here to cause trouble. I am here to discuss opinions. But if people like you and YOUR biased crap are a result of playing X-box games, then I seriously am considering not buying the console later in it's life. Sure, I wont be buying one soon anyway, but I can't afford to! I can't even afford a second hand original Game Boy game right now as I have no income at all!

If I came here to 's***-stir' as I have heard Daveus call it, would I have started this topic? no.

Good post Edgy and something that needs to be said. Come on, why can't let go of this biased rubbish from ALL sides. It doesn't need to be said and is, quite frankly boring. Why can't we have decent debates or discussions on here instead of leaving FoG to do that and to leave this forum to argue over petty things. Garbe I doubt anyone cares about the exclusivity of splinter cell. Daveus just shut up. Gamezfreak get your facts right before you speak. If you stick to this the animosity will ease and maybe even stop.
